We needed more than 1 left back, do you not have any decency to come out and say that this wasn't a good transfer window? Or will you persist in your excuses and PR spin job and try to say this was all fine?

Once again you are talking rubbish.It has been mentioned plenty of times in the media tonight that the transfer was already agreed and would have happened at the end of the season anyway.Apparently Monreal was already taking English lessons in readiness for his move to Arsenal.The transfer was moved forward with the agrrement of Malaga because of the injury to Gibbs.I would hardly call it a panic buy
 
A87 - you gave us a GUARANTEE that we wouldn't sign anyone. I feel let down that you so obviously lied to us all... Or maybe you where just being your usual negative self and overexagerating? :P

One signing is still hardly enough, stop trying to mask the fact that your god who can do no wrong, Wenger, has made a right mess up in this transfer window by failing to sign anyone else. We had the money, so why didn't we? The stubborn old persistent ways.

LOL yes, because a team sitting in 6th place 20 points behind United, 8 behind Chelsea, and points behind Everton and Spurs are not in need of improvements other than 1 new LB. Right.......

Would I have like a CF yes, but the striker's are geling now so it wasn't that necessary. Do I think we need a DM, yes, but we didn't get one and I think we can manage with Arteta, Ramsey, Diaby, and Coq until the season end (though I expect on to be bought during the summer)

Wenger is certainly not my god and i didn't start supporting Arsenal because of Arsenal's success under him <whistle>

Yeah, strange, I think he is your god because so far I don't see you coming out with any negative critique regarding the shambles of this transfer window. Your pathetic defence of him knows no bounds. This team was in bad need of improvements, which even YOU ADMITTED, and we had the money to do it, yet we didn't. The fact you're not saying anything about this, shows that Wenger is your god. But I'm not surprised, didn't expect the blinker brigade to have the decency to do so anyway, LOL, the manager has failed by your own standards, the criteria YOU GUYS RAISED, that once money is available then we should go on and judge Wenger, now that he's failed on that, YOU STILL don't speak up and critique him.
 
Anyway, I'm drunk and pleased that the January transfer window held some excitement for me. On a side note, has anyone seen 'Game of Thrones'? That blonde malt is top shelf poontang!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ah yes because 1 Winter Window is definitely how to judge spending habits. Especially when AW has come out and said he doesn't like spending in the Winter.
We bought 3 Good Players in the SUMMER, so I think that indicates major money will be spent in the SUMMER
