Yes please - I actually think he's a top class player. Unfortunately, there's a whole host of clubs interested in him, so he'll likely cost a premium. But if we can get this done, what an unreal signing it'd be.
Yes. He’d be a good signing.
PL proven and clearly has a higher level than West Ham

Not sure the point of buying him. He is a decent enough 6 but we have the best 6 in the world with Rice. Are we planning to move Rice to another position or is this guy going to be backup? I don't Rice pushed to another position, it will obviously be a more offensive role and he is much better holding.

My mate who's a WHU Season ticket holder was saying that he's like Vitinha at Wolves, has gone under the radar because West Ham have been ****. But he says the guy is special.

Could be a replacement for Norgaard - who I doubt will stay.

Likewise I didn't rate him overly at Liverpool, but he seems to have taken a step forward at Bayern, seems more tricky/skillful.

It's because he;s playing for Bayern.
The vast majority of their games every season are against league One and Championship level teams.
He was decent at Liverpool but a but streaky.
That's all he'll ever be at PL level.

Very talented 16-year old winger who plays for Leicester. All the big clubs (City, United, Liverpool etc) have been scouting him for the last 18 months, but seems like we're leading the race to sign him.

If I had to compare him to someone, he's probably more similar in his play style to Jeremy Doku. However, there's been question marks over his work out of possession - he can be a bit lazy when it comes to that aspect of the game. But he's 16, so I think it can be coached if the talent is there.

I'm not going to pretend like I watch him every week, but based on reviews from people/scouts who follow the young and upcoming talent, he seems to be held in very high esteem.

Meh, Im not trying to hear a skillful player has problems tracking back, I don't want them to ! I want 80% effectiveness going forward, if you have to sacrifice tracking back for it, so be it.

Sick of us compromising attack so people can defend.

If a winger can not track back he is a sub standard footballer and useless to a team, no matter how good he is going forward.
The exceptions that that rule are very very few - a handful of times in the history of the game.
Not a single winger in todays game can be called a top player if they can't operate in defensive positions out of possession.

And thats exactly why football now is so ****e Jay. So no, I don't agree with you.

The likes of Yamal would be screwed if all managers thought like you and football would well and truly be a dead sport for a bunch of athletes.

Yamal is completely over rated and unless he changed his game would not succeed in the PL.
It's easy to not defend when you are playing **** teams week in week out.
A handful of footballers in the history of the game get away with not playing for the team out of possession.

Jay if the Prem was so difficult why is it the England team always does **** all in tournaments, even the so-called golden generation flopped like a flip flop !

HH this has been explained so many times and it is obvious

The other leagues outside England are not **** because they dont have top clubs - they are **** because they have a few top clubs and the rest of the clubs, the majority of them, they play each week are no better than League One standard or worse.

The strength of the PL is in it's depth , not comparisons between the best clubs.

Deserves it - honestly he is a game away from a statue.
A League and CL double would be historic.
If he did that he'd be a title next year away from being our greatest ever manager.

I do not like all the transfer talk , though. These people know nothing and are just throwing mud at a wall to see what sticks. That's how they operate. Ed Aarons is a ****ing moron that knows zero about the game or Arsenal's plans. He's a hack whose sole purpose is to get clicks.

Transfers should be the last thing on our mind with a CL final coming up.
