What about Liverpool? There's been a lot of speculation about Liverpool wanting him and their fans seem convinced they could get him for around £120m-£130m.

(FWIW I think he's staying at Newcastle regardless).

I've seen this price float around, but he's been valued at 150 million. I don't think Al Rumiyyan was joking, when he said he's his favourite player, and for all offers to be rejected.

It would appear we agree and time will prove our assessment right.

Never felt Isak was likely anyway and he'd cost too much even if we did try. Not worth the hassle considering how much business we need to do across the pitch.

Obviously an elite level striker though. Certainly gave us more problems than Mbappe did.

However good he is, I’m not sure we’re dropping £50m on a cb this summer given our CF, WF needs etc.

Unless Gabby wants to go and leaves for Saudi for £100m. In which case I think I’d potentially swap Gabby for Huijsen and £50m as dirty as my mouth feels suggesting it.

In truth we have NO Idea if Berta wants to sign Isak, If he's the type of profile they want even.

Edu already bid for Sesko last Summer - will that be revised or does he have new targets. Nobody outside the Club actually knows this right now.
