I think Jesus would be good signing as I already said.

Some City Account (can't find now) on Twitter posted his stats for when he's played upfront (not on the wing) for City and it's better than 1 in 2 for them.

The rumour is coming from Ornstein so you know there's some truth in it.
Ornstein also indicated on his podcast that we will sign at least TWO forwards. I expect a more mobile tricky forward (Jesus) and a target man (Calvin Lewin, Isak or Darwen Nunes maybe) he also said the plan is FOUR quality signings this Summer. (Two strikers, One AMFer and one left sided DMF)
have to say Darwen Nunez looked the real deal against us in the QF . Really impressed all of us and made us consider if we might make a move for him .

I personally think Jesus would be a brilliant signing. He's such a versatile player and he's an absolute soldier for City. He creates so many dangerous chances for them and I think he'd link up brilliantly with players like Saka, ESR and Odergaard.

If we could get Jesus and Nunez to replace Lacazette and Nketiah it would be an awesome bit of business.

I’d be unsure on Jesus if we were ever linked to him.

Sometimes hard to judge a player like that who, when on the pitch, is supported by the likes of de Bruyne, Foden, Silva etc. You could put almost any striker in front of those guys and they’d get a healthy amount of goals yet anywhere else would probably score half the amount or less.

I think Jesus is of the calibre of player in which he’s a great bench option but not quite good enough to lead the line for top six sides. Even right now at City, he’s the second choice striker despite the fact they only have one, there has to be a reason for that.

As has been said though, Nunez looks like he could be the real deal. I’d say he and Osimhen are probably the most appealing strikers to sides that won’t be able to compete for Haaland and Mbappe in the summer.

Yeah I disagree his sharpness of finishing is TOP notch and he's also decent carrying the ball.

To be fair when he arrived he ousted Augero as the preferred CF.
But Pep has often gone with a false 9 and it's hard to judge a striker who is in and out of the team. Also I wouldn't call him second choice as he starts about 50-60% of their games - seems more like a tactical decision.
He always seems to perform when they do play him though.

If he plays in the Champions league final this Season I won't be surprised if he scores. The guy seems to do well under pressure.

He’s got 8 goals in the league and 4 of them were in one game against relegation fodder, if you claim he’s not second choice then that’s an incredibly poor return for a striker who has some of the best midfielders in the game in support of him.

I’d much rather you lot sign him than Nunez, put it like that.

iro Jesus surprisingly in terms of goals plus assists this is second best season for City with 16 ( the best being 21 in 19/20 ) and it is due to this being his best season for assists . The reason i checked this was because a lot of this season he has played as the winger / wide player for them . His goal record is pretty poor tbh particularly considering who he plays for .

Everybody wants Darwen Nunes now by the looks of it. We should have signed him in January when we were aimlessly waiting around for Vlahovic.

He really does seem like a young Cavani.

We have been "linked" to him (even though the new manager hasn't arrived yet) along with half the PL which will have driven his price up 5 fold.
I have only heard of him this season, is he any good and how long has he been performing? Rashford looked good for a while.

Yep his agent has done good job of spreading a lot of interest with rumours. I can't imagine he will go for less than 70m now but 6 months ago would have gone for less than half that. Same thing happened with Vlahovic - always hard to know with young strikers who only really have ONE good Season behind them.

According to Ornstein and Romano Arsenal are on the verge of signing two young talents.

Firstly Marquinhos from Sau Paulo. (£3.5m)
The 19 year old Brazilian plays as a winger/wide play maker.
Technically excellent, small but powerfully built forward. Reminds me of Alexis Sanchez a little actually.

Arsenal have reached an agreement with Bologna to sign fullback Aaron Hickey. (Fee thought to be around €20M-€25)
The young Scot can play as a RB or LB.
19 years old - already a Scotland International.
Looks a quality talent and would provide cover/competition for both Tierney and Tomiyasu.
