A few media outlets are reporting that most of the unrest in the arsenal dressing room is down to sanchez, with a lot of players being unhappy at his attitude and want him out of the club. Not sure how true this is but there was some unrest caused by him last season, I think there was a training ground bust up if I remember. This might explain why we are now willing to sell him. Quite a few people on here, including myself, suggested that sanchez would not sulk, and we should keep him, but I am not so sure now.

Should we keep him and send him to the reserves for a few weeks, similar to what Liverpool did with suarez? It is a world cup year, so it is in his interests to play well. Or should we bite the bullet and sell for the correct money? Not an easy decision.

This doesn't look good on Wenger. Probably the first time you can say he's lost the dressing room if this is correct. But why keep a player that is having such a negative impact on the team, despite how good he is? There is a lot we don't know but sure to say, it stinks big time. There really needs to be major changes at the club, starting from the top, otherwise we will see our club sink further.

A lot of us were talking about this very thing for many years but it fell on deaf ears. It's not just us that are or will go through this, but other clubs have too. When you stagnate and don't seek to improve and move with the times, you will be left behind and have one hell of a problem to sort out. This is what's happening now and will continue to happen over the coming years.

Unfortunately proper contingency plans weren't put into place other than "Wenger will do the business", but how long were they thinking that Wenger can go on for? He isn't a human cyborg that can go on and on, there is a time when every manager has to hang them up. We have the problem of having the wrong types in power and until these people are moved on, we will continue to struggle.

The Board and management have no choice but to support Wenger, as it would look like they don't have a ****ing clue, which they obviously don't. Their gravy train is coming to an end and their shortsightedness will come to haunt them big time. Unfortunately the only ones that suffer are the fans, as they won't or the players.
Hmm dunno about that. At Chelsea/City etc.. things dont go well they fire the manager. Shifts the blame that way.

The difference is their Boards actually do something, ours just feeds off Wenger. But the blame always ends up at Wenger's door, so they really don't have to do anything. Only when things hit the fan like it's starting to do now, will they actually do something. We will see how this season pans out and if it really goes tits up, then we might see them spring into some sort of action.

You've got to laugh at how disastrous this transfer window has been. How inept have we been to let it get to this point where the only links to us are other teams getting our players and not the other way round Have we suddenly become Southampton in disguise? Now i know how they feel, it doesn't feel so good..

The players know Wenger will never take a tough stance on them, he's a softy. Ask yourself how any of the other top PL managers would handle a player causing unrest? Mourinho, Conte & Kloop wouldn't stand for it, I'm not sure how Pep or Poch would handle it...

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain: Liverpool agree £40m deal for Arsenal midfielder

So the ridiculous transfer fees continue and we get a whopping £40m for a player who has been average for us and in his last year. I feel for LIverpool, what a waste of money, you should have stuck with Lemar.

But then again, it is Klopp, who knows, maybe he can make something from him that we couldn't?

Looks like Wenger has been shamed again for saying a player is staying. Maybe he should keep his mouth shut.

Good riddance.

He finally discovered his best position (wing back) but does'nt want to play there.

£40m for a player with absolutely no end product is good business.

Great money for a guy that didn't do much for us. But the money is pointless if we don't invest in other players, i hope we can scrape in a couple good transfers.

Agreed. The money is good, but it needs investing. Would love us to go in with a £60m+ bid for Lemar now, but I fear we've left it too late.

The guy is a fool and he's deluded if he thinks he can be a regular starter for Liverpool. Also spot on with his best position as wing back, he was too stupid to realise that.

Well it looks like Liverpool has shot most of their load on Oxo, so that leaves us in the driving seat financially. We really need to drive that one home. The next big issues are Sanchez, a CM and a defender at least.

If Ox is worth £40m in his final year of his contact, then Sanchez is worth £80m. If you want him Pep, put up or shut up <ok>
