I would rather we paid the fee, and then keep Giroud as Option B off the bench to change style player.

Or rinse West Ham for £30m for him as I saw in the papers !

Does anyone REALLY think that the Mbappe transfer is achievable?

Laczette was due to go to Atletico till there transfer ban, so he is definitely open to a move, so let's get him first.
If Mbappe is interested and we have a chance then imo we sign both and then say goodbye to Sanchez as long as it's abroad !

If we don't get any of these big names and Sanchez is sold to City then all hell will break loose come start of season
 
It's crazy to say but ...in a market where Jordon Pickford is worth 30 million. Lukaku is worth 80 million and Morata 65 million.. You have to say Mbappe seems worth the 100m + pricetag.

No. His not worth 100m after one good season and it's only the French league to.

18 years old. 26 goals 11 assists in his first Season, been chased by the 'big Spanish clubs' since he was 13-14.
It may only be ONE season but he's clearly not your average talent. The kid has pace, unbelievable technique and can finish.

Should I remind you Utd paid potentially £57.6 million for Anthony Martial a player who scored 11 goals over his first two Seasons of top flight football in France. Based on that I would say Mbappe is a bargain.

We paid 36m for Martial and he plays more on the wing then as a striker.

Mbappe will end up at Real or Barca and will be another player 'Wenger tried to sign'.

I think Lacazette could happen though and I would be happy with that. He would give us something different and is a very good finisher.

Lacazette and Lemar? that would be a quality Summer IMO.
 
Seems that our buying business is all done as we aren't linked to anyone! We got a defender on a free and a striker no one has heard of - it's par for the course for Wenger.

all that's left of this window is to see how much we sell Sanchez and Ozil and Ox for., we may recoup £100m which will make up for not being in the CL so will keep the Board and Stan very happy,

Depends what you use as sources of info. I've read the same old bollox we get each year-a bit less because our stock has diminished a bit in the media. But its still too early to get flustered about it. Too hot too. Enjoy the cricket...

I doubt it very much that our transfer business is done. In fact i can see us bringing in a marquee attacking player this summer transfer window. My guess is Lacazette as he's the most realistic target. Sorry but the Mbappe rumours are far too unrealistic.

Newspaper bollox. 2 things mainly.

Price. Hes gonna cost at least 120m.
CL. He's not playing in the Europa league in a world cup year.

Hottest property in Europe. He'll end up at Real or stay put for one more season.

Laccazette is an achievable target with giroud going the other way.
