If Iwobi goes to Everton tomorrow morning we could see a last minute loan deal for Coutinho happen.
Also Elneny may finalise a deal to Galatasary - which would recoup more funds and free wages.

William Saliba - £30 Million
Pepe - £72 Million
Dani Caballos - Loan
Gabriel Martinelli £6 Million
David Luiz - £8 Million
Kieran Tierney £25 Million
Coutinho - Loan (maybe)

This will really make Talksport etc. Look like complete morons after all the non-sense they have been spouting since the start of this window.

Anyone thinking we might go back in for more?

Would love to snap up Zaha if we could sell iwobi to Everton, but now I’m just getting greedy and letting deadline day fever get to me...
 
Happy with the Luiz signing. He's quality proven prem CB and is a proper ball playing CB who can bring the ball out of defence and link up with the MF. He's not the rock solid CB that somebody like VVD or De Ligt is, but he's an upgrade on Kos and a steal at £8m

I'm thinking Coutinho is a possibility. He rejected Spurs - wants EPL and Barca are forcing him out to make way for Neymar.

There could be more to come as Elneny is linked to Galatasaray and Mustafi could move to a Ligue 1 club before the window ends, according to Sky.

If Elneny and Mustafi go as well I think its fair to say Sahlelli is a genius.

Coutinho could still happen today as Barca will not want Neymar going to Real, and they need to offload Coutinho first. Cheeky low bid or loan with option to buy.

actually I cant believe that we finally have a transfer management structure that knows what to do and when, and moves quickly rather than dawdling

I'm suprised they hav'nt gone back in for Upamecano but I guess 70m is crazy money for a 20 year old. But maybe they will make one last attempt.
I doubt Rugani will happen now as I think he was just seen as a loan option. With David Luiz in they may not bother.

I think William Saliba was their first choice CB signing - he looks looks like some talent. So the key is to get somone in until he is available. Unless they plan to bring in another young long term option.

Fingers crossed Coutinho is still of interest. He's soo versatile and has already shown what he can do in the EPL.

Yeah he's quality - but is he DeLigt quality?!.. I dont think he is.

William Saliba for £30m looks like a better deal IMO. However Saliba is only 18 - perhaps by the time he hits 20-21 St Ettiene would have been quoting simularly crazy amounts.

It seems like you have to pay for potential these days.
