Its his car - for sure. He posts alot about his cars. He has a gold Range Rover a Gold Lambo and silver Porsche.
again as said before, not sure he's the commanding CB you are looking for, especially long term. Not sure about Luiz as DM. Hes got a brilliant pass and wins quite a few 50/50s and is strong. However he won't hold that DM position and will charge out for everything and as good as his pass is, if you're asking him to play it first time and under pressure ala cazorla, that isn't happening.
Luiz isn't a long term replacement, but that's not what we need right now. We need ready made players with experience who can sure up our defence.
My feelings on Giroud are that we don't play Chelsea again this year. And Chelsea are struggling. Next year Giroud is 32, and unlikely to make our team and probably not theirs. If you have to let him go to a rival - Now is a good time.
Although I'd rather he didn't go to Chelsea, if it seals the deal with Aubameyang then let's get it done. Also if we can get Luiz out of Chelsea, then it would be a good bit of business. As you say, he's not going to get much game time at Arsenal with Aubameyang and Lacazette ahead of him, at at 32 his chances are going to be fairly limited wherever he goes.
The other thing is he has got a little injury prone lately. He has taken a lot of punishment over the years and if his body is starting to break down then now is the time to unload him.
Not really. He was a great player, I like him a lot, but he really doesn't fit our game, if we are going to get rid of Walcott and Ox and not play wingers. We only paid 9.6M for him anyway. That was 6 years ago, but this is still excellent business, and he chose Chelsea over BVB, so quite frankly I don't have much problem with it.
think we've got a great deal for giroud at 17.5m. I thought llorente was cheap at 15m and i'd class giroud along the same price. Not massively happy with having another injured player but if hes okay just being a backup i will settle for that
As I said, I love him as a player and he will always give you 100%, but we don't play you again this year, and I can't see him as a long term solution for Chelsea.
I think selling Giroud is a mistake. That means we only have ONE recognized striker for the Europa League...that does not sound very smart IMO... he turns 32 this year so his best days are arguably behind him, but still cant decide whether £18m is a good price or not for him considering its Chelsea we are selling him to. Part of me thinks his chant alone is worth more than that... of course the other issue I have is that now we are ONCE AGAIN in a transfer profit this window assuming Giroud / Auba get done. Why are we not spending money? Ridiculous.
Signing players will make absolutely no difference to our plight. Without no manager in charge we're doomed.
It's interesting with your club as Wenger has won things even in this slump and that has kept him in a job. Does winning the LC this season keep him in the job again? For a lot of clubs winning pots is enough but with your location + stadium, fan base etc you should be a huge club worldwide but it seems there is some very small thinking going on behind the scenes that revolves around profit.
We don’t have endless money like City or Chelsea and we don’t make as much as United. We should be on par with a Liverpool spend but we don’t. The owner doesn’t suck the money out and neither do the board - it’s in the bank but **** knows why
The biggest worry in the world is that a LC win would keep him in a job. Hopefully everything will become toxic enough that he has no choice but to be hounded out. He deserves a disrespectful and hateful exit.
