Good luck to him, always liked him and always believed he could be a top player. I hope he manages to regain enough fitness to at least get a couple of proper playing years under his belt before his career is over.
Tragic career. Could have been one of the best, but his career was ruined by that numbskull pub player Dan Smith who shattered his ankle and Diaby never really ever recovered. I hope he manages to get back to a level where he can at least play in some form, but I fear that his career is basically over.
It's such a tragedy, the guy had such promise and could have been great but a couple of thugs and a lot of bad luck kept putting him back. But he kept fighting back despite it all, and kept his humility and smile. Good luck to guy, and like everyone else I hope he manages to play a few years injury free before he has to retire.
A couple of thugs! How dare you. Dan Smith has repeatedly had to come out and explain how him breaking Diaby's leg has ruined his career. Lousy Diaby getting in his way is what really did it, that and his horrific injury record. Which, weirdly, only took place after this incident... Next you bast*rds will be saying it's Ryan Shawcross' fault that Ramsey was broken in 84 places. You lot make me sick.
Hear hear. Bloomin Diaby and Ramsey sticking their legs where its not wanted. They've also mentally damaged the heroic defenders Dan Smith and Shawcross. Diaby and Ramsey will have to live with this for the rest of their lives.
BILD are reporting that Lukas Podolski has signed for Galatasaray in a three year deal for €4 million
Shame we couldn't have gotten more for him, but good sale and great to get his wages off the books and make room in the squad. Someone on Twitter pointed out that we've swapped Podolski's £100k wages with Cech's. What a great exchange!
I always see people throwing around this 100k figure but in articles I've read about podolski it's always 75k. Either way he isn't going to gt game time so it's good to move him on.
Good luck to him, it could have worked but instead his time with us has just left a taste of disappointment and frustration
Those pictures sum podolski up to me not professional enough for a club like arsenal. Who takes pictures like that before the deal is officially done
