If City signed falcao with the strikers they've already got, what hope have normal teams ever got of keeping up?
Right. Does somebody want to name any instance of a player signing a contract, and then immediately being sold? Anyone?
Again ... you want to name any player that's been sold in the same window as them signing a new contract?
There ain't no way we going to compete with City-Chelski over an entire season if City do sign Falcao, and we don't sign any other strikers, it will be a similar story to last season.
Why would City sign a player on loan for £20mil for a position they're already overstocked in? I swear, between that and the "Benzema could be sold immediately after signing a contract" people, people don't use their heads when it comes to these things.
City are City, why not? They obviously don't want Ngredo, so they will just get Falcao. At this point even if they don't sign him, we ain't going to compete with them over an entire season because their striking department is already super top quality and blows anything we currently have.
No one thinks we're signing Benzema. Falcoa to city is all over twitter, that's why it's been mentioned
They have Aguero, Dzeko and Jovetic. For a team which has already fallen foul of FFP, they're not going to blow £20m on a loan striker which they don't need.
Suarez? Costa signed one at Athletico in January. Samir Nasri agreed a new deal with us in late February then moved in July/Aug to City. It's happening more and more. For players a new deal just equals more money not necessarily a commitment to stay..
Falcao just tweeted this: Sueño hecho realidad #HalaMadrid Dream come true #HalaMadrid He deleted it but I have the picture: please log in to view this image
