Its because he is one of the players who refused to fly to Ukraine for Shaktar. So all those players started getting linked. I reckon that is why. A dmf i think will be our last signing unless someone leaves.
The simple truth is that he needs to move. He's not going to get any playing time at Real next season with them bringing Toni Kroos in. A season on the bench will lower his market value and he won't be able to demand the high wages he currently is. He needs this move now while his stock is still high after the World Cup. He's going to move to somebody. It's just about whether it will be us.

I tend to agree. Real now have so many midfield players to choose from, that Khedira will struggle for a first team place. He'd be brilliant at Arsenal and would like up so well with Ozil. If he's available, I reckon Wenger will go for it.
He has played down the middle before. I highly doubt we are going to sign any more attacking players though. I could see a Centreback or a DM come in but that would be it.

I guess, he wants to stay to leave as a free agent next summer. He has one year left on his contract. Even if his stock somehow falls by next summer, he will get much more money as a free agent. I think Real tries to push the deal, they do not want to loose him for free. It is the club who needs to move him, not the player.

I can't see Sanchez playing much if at all this weekend.He didn't go to the training camp in Austria.Everyone except the Germans seems to have gone to Austria so you should see all the first team squad play on either the Saturday or Sunday.I think Ospina will play on one of the days.
Why would you say that? He's tall, powerful, technically gifted and has formed a good partnership with Ozil in the past? Ok so he's not a traditional holding player but the truth is Wenger doesn't really like those anyway. The last one we signed was Lassana Diarra and he barely got any games. For me Khedira would be an excellent addition.

He's not a holding midfielder at all. The best game he had for Germany was the 7-1 against Brazil where he was basically playing as an AM. He's not a better box to box midfielder than Ramsey, and if he starts next to Ramsey then either Ramsey will have to sacrifice his game so he can cover for Khedira or we'll get destroyed on the counter attack every game.
