To be honest I like Giroud, he tries hard and i'm sure he will be of use playing with top players like Ozil, Walcott, Sanchez (when we get him). But is he running at the required level to get the best out of our attacking forward play and be our number one CF? We will see how the season pans out if we don't get another CF. I can see Wenger changing things if Giroud starts struggling. Automatically the demands on Giroud will increase when you are surrounded by better players.
Yep, he was one of the strikers I'd hoped we could have signed. Looks like he's off to Atletico. He works hard and is a similar albeit slightly improved version of what Giroud does. Seeing as we're bringing in Sanchez though, this more than makes up for not signing him. Even if we only get Remy now, our front like attacking options will be: Sanchez, Podolski, Cazorla, Campbell, Giroud, Remy, Sanogo, Theo, Oxo

Heard a rumour the other day that Joel Campbell may never pull on an Arsenal shirt due to an "incident". Hope it's not true.
