Balotelli apparently 'desperate' to force through a move to Arsenal. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...lotelli-desperate-force-Arsenal-AC-Milan.html
Sunday Express is obviously reading this forum, not only is there talk of Sanchez and Schneiderlin http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/485501/Arsenal-swoop-to-beat-Liverpool-to-Alexis-Sanchez-and-Tottenham-to-Morgan-Schneiderlin but also Vidal. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/485478/He-has-EVERYTHING-Arsenal-step-up-interest-in-Arturo-Vidal-as-Arsene-Wenger-praises-star Now that would be a transfer window.
I'm not sure we'd go for Vidal and Schneiderlin, but if we got one of them along with Sanchez and Aurier, then it would be a fantastic window.
You said the other day that you didn't base your player opinions on a tiny amount of world cup games. But I suppose you've watched Monaco all season yeah?
Okay so I don't usually go in for this sort of speculative thing, but I'm gonna dream for a minute. Imagine how good we'd be with a line up like this: Sanchez...Mandzukic...Walcott .................Ozil.................. .......Vidal............Ramsey.... Gibbs....Kos....Mert.....Aurier.
Pipe down Precious, I wasn't saying I had watched them all season, I asked a simple question about how much he'd cost ? You have to admit that even based on this Tournament alone, he looks like a fantastic player. Anyway the assumption you made the other day wasn't about me watching a player in the World Cup it was that you thought I 'knew nothing' about Ronald Koeman's managerial career.
That wasn't what I was referencing. I was talking about your point about Giroud. But now you bring it up... Yes, you didn't know much about Koeman as a manager either. Awfully defensive and insulting aren't you?
Not at all, I'm simply rebutting your assumptions. I've know plenty about Koeman's managerial career as demonstrated to you at the time and I was basing Giroud's performances on his time with Arsenal last season also, 22 goals and 11 assists, but you wrongly assumed that I was basing it on one WC game. If you don't like my responses, then it's probably best not to make incorrect assumptions in the first place
You didn't know about Koeman. You based your assumption on Giroud's one game. You've based Rodriguez's quality on one tournament. Rebut all you want.
A Spanish journalist called Kike Marin (no idea how reliable) is also reporting the Sanchez rumour. He says the fee is €40 million
Apparently Sanchez would rather stay at FCB but if he leaves he only wants to go to Arsenal,he has no interest in Liverpool and has told them so and stopped all contact.FCB are willing to let Sanchez leave as he won't get enough game time. This info is from an outlet called SPORT again I've no idea how reliable they are
François Pinet who first reported the Sanchez & Schneiderlin rumour last night is the same journalist who first reported about us buying Koscielny & Giroud.
I really hope the Sanchez and Schneiderlin rumours are true as they are exactly the type of players we need. Hopefully we can get a backup GK and RB sorted soon too. I still think we will end up signing Remy also.
Here's hoping he keeps up his record. I really think Schneiderlin would fit in the Arteta role, very good distributor. Watched a fair bit of the Saints over the years (legacy of being Hampshire born).
Unless he really doesn't want to live up north then I can't see any reason why that would be the case
Despite what some of our own fans say, i still think wenger has some major pulling power (no pun intended haha). Most players that leave the club usually say good things about him, even the ones like nasri and rvp who left under a cloud. Therefore he still has a reputation as being an attaching coach who makes good players better. We just simply have not been able to afford these types of players in the past, but i still genuinely think having wenger gives us an advantage over clubs like Liverpool if all else is equal ( transfer fee, wages, ect)
