To be honest, I can't see anyone coming this window. I think summer is more probable depending on how well Giroud finishes.
Giroud is injured.
Podolski has only just come back from Injury
Walcott is better on the wing.
Bendtner is a donkey
TBH. I would be suprised if Wenger is'nt at least looking.
Oh I'm sure he's "looking" and then he'll come out and tell us "There was no value in the market."
Plus when Sanogo comes back, it will be like a "new signing"
Why the **** has Wenger not signed a new CF yet?![]()
lets get it done early and not ****ing hang around. we dont need a replacement striker for Giroud we just need another striker so we can rotate.Oh I'm sure he's "looking" and then he'll come out and tell us "There was no value in the market."

Arsene's face when asked about signings. Same face he pulled prior to us getting Ozil.
Here's the interview from where that picture is taken http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25571310 and it does sound very much like Wenger will be trying to sign a striker in January.

Just can't see us signing Berbatov. Wenger seems set on having a grafting focal point up front where the likes of Giroud and to a lesser extent NB excel at holding things up and bringing others into the game. Podolski isn't that kind of forward and Berbatov is many things but he's certainly no grafter. I'd have loved the likes of Dzeko but that deal would have had to have been done last summer as there's no way City would sell to us now!
I don't think we'll get anybody to be honest. I can see us muddling through January with Pod leading the line and continuing as normal once Giroud is back. I don't think that will be enough for us to win the league.
