As i've said before he was highly rated by most Arsenal fans until a couple of years ago.I'm glad we refused a permanent deal. I still think Djourou is a decent CB and could have a future at Arsenal. He's a terrible RB, but he's been unfairly tarred with being a bad player because of his performances at RB, when in fact he's a decent CB.
I know they are also running a story about Arsenal player's contracts and wages all being down Wenger. That'll be the one then![]()

And you know this based on a BS Mirror ArticleNo more of this "it's the board" majiggy then. Wenger decides the wages for the contracts. Losing players looks like it's down to him, as we suspected it was the whole way through.
Seems Wenger gives Gazidis instructions & he tries to make it happen, but the buck stops with Wenger.
The "socialist" payscale is ridiculous, and will never work in a capitalist society. It just creates frustration & overpaid rubbish players who are impossible to shift - Chamakh. Bendtner, Denilson, Squillaci, Djourou (possibly), and Arshavin.

"I don't know how it works at other clubs, but the wages at
Arsenal are decided in consultation between me and the
board,"
Not gullible, there's a quote. They may share responsibility, but Wenger is definitely 50% of it.

In what way is the payscale socialist?
