Its about supporting the club for me. I dont feel I need to be nice about players who have underperformed, we all know that they will bugger off elsewhere when the money comes calling. I hope there is not a single player in the changing room who would put their hand on heart and say they deserve to be here at the end of this season. Not one of them. Its a priviledge, not a right. If they can't keep us in the Premier then they're not up to standard.

To be honest......I thought that by supporting the club you automatically supported the players?
As for the squad we have it is a bit harsh to say they shouldn't be Premier league footballers. Especially with the quality of manager we have had over the last couple of years.
Remember the bulk of the team were playing when we reached the giddy heights of a few seasons ago, and they were comparative youngsters. What they lacked was guidance and direction which hopefully they will get with a new manager.
Granted a few need to go as I think they may be past their best, thats not to say they are not of a good standard though, but if we are to move forward it is what we need to do.........

Our team is full of good players, but (as Hughes said) they needed direction. I'm sure they wanted to believe in MP2, but for some reason he seemed to inhibit them and they lost confidence. We started the season short of killer instinct up front and then lost Austin. If goals had been flowing the team would have played differently....the fear was that we'd lose if we let in even a single goal....tough on a defence at a time that our keeper wasn't performing. Fear immobilises a team....and doesn't do much for the fans morale either. However, it's all chicken and egg really....and everything nearly came home to roost.

I think we can all agree....we need a manager with a plan that the team can work with and we definitely need someone to put the ball in the net. With confidence and success, the rest of the team will play to their strengths.

Ps. should not be read as we only need one extra player. Yes, Les....I'm looking at you!

I think the ongoing saga of VVD was a significant distraction too at all levels of the club

Cedric: bye
Yoshida: maybe bye
Davis: bye
Boufal: bye

Whose taking bertrand ?
City more than likely. He almost moved there start of the season (why he acted sulky at the start of the season). Before this season started I was told him and Van Dijk would both leave at the same time. So we managed to keep him a little longer.

Would be an odd move as they don't need him at all having spent £50m on Mendy last summer and Delph/Danilo/Zinchenko all doing fine there whilst Mendy was injured. Guess they could be selling Delph and replacing him with Bertrand as a home grown rotation option, doesn't make much sense to me though.

Delph is going according to a lot of City fans

I don’t see there being that much interest in some of these players. Are you saying these players are asking for transfers or that we are offloading them?

Bertrand is same as last year.
Cedric to me today looked like he was saying bye.
Davis hasn't played a game in ages, he won't stick around on the wages he is on.
Add Forster to my list as well.
Boufal seems to have burnt his bridges.
Yoshida has talked about playing in Japan before he retires.
Gabbi has made noises about wanting to move back
Austin recently moved closer to London again

Long and Carillo aren't good enough
