It is safe...Tommie Hoban from Watford inbound....I hope

Whoever we hope to get, I hope they arrive quickly as last season we had difficulties picking a first team with the players we knew. I can only imagine the confusion in selecting a team with many late arrivals. :)

Only a brave man will start a thread for the "Team for Reading (home)" which is on 5th August, thus in only 30 days.

Go on Ski be that brave man......:emoticon-0100-smile

Re the Bowler move, stg£1.4m or whatever it is up front plus add on's for a lad who has only 20 minutes of 1st team football and was let go previously by another club seems like a bloody good deal to me. Include a 20% sell on clause and Bob's your Auntie......:emoticon-0148-yes:

The way Everton are spending he'll be lucky to get 20 minutes first team football in the next 3 seasons at Goodison.

Exactly Stan, meanwhile we bank a decent sum and if he develops even in their reserves and they sell him on we'll do ok from the deal.

The Championship quartet of Fulham, Hull City, Queens Park Rangers, and Sunderland are expressing an interest in Paris Saint-German starlet Christopher Nkunku, according to Get West London.

The 19-year-old midfielder came up through the youth ranks at the French giants before making his first team debut back in 2015 in a Champions League group stage clash against Shakhtar Donetsk.

And the France youth international has since gone on to add a further 21 appearances for the side, including 16 in all competitions last term as Unai Emery’s side came up short in their quest to win a fifth successive Ligue 1 title, finishing eight points behind champions Monaco.

And with Nkunku unlikely to command a regular starting berth at PSG next term, he has reportedlybeen attracting interest from a whole host of clubs around the continent, not least the Championship quartet of Fulham, Hull, QPR, and Sunderland.

Leonid Slutsky’s Hull and Simon Grayson’s Sunderland will be looking for an immediate return to the Premier League following relegation last term, and as such will want talent like Nkunku in their ranks to aid in that quest.

If he decides to join us he must not only weak in the head but crap as well.

Or if he did sign for us and turn out very good then he most likely will have some sort of breakdown, or develop a drink problem, or suffer a career threatening injury and be out of action until his contract nears it end<laugh>

It's the curse of QPR<doh>

Yes, I was enjoying the heated debate about that.

WLW had no idea. He couldn't even understand the English language let alone the facts! :emoticon-0140-rofl: :emoticon-0136-giggl
Only kidding WLW. Peace man <peacedove>

Anyway... any new signings ... Aug. 5th is fast approaching and Holloway wants the team to gel before then... :emoticon-0133-wait:

Wouldn't be the QPR way without a late panic / rush.

At least when we purchased the big names in the PL, we could dream big about how good the new arrivals were. Now, the very most can do is troll the local child care centre get a nappy report.

Maybe they will loan him back to us.
Our management should has instigated such thoughts in the sale but probably too proactive for our club.
