Little movement expected in or out at Bristol City this week. Mcfadzen deal with Crawley put on hold as doubts about fitness, and this may now happen in the summer. Other players coming in will be loan deals in February once the window shuts.
Bids have been received for Adomah, but club not likely to sell unless silly money is offered (at least 2.5m up front)28 Jan 2013 20:00:30

Bristol City have said that Marvin Elliot, Cole Skuse and Jon Stead will not be offered a new contract. all 3 of these have contracts running out end of this season. I also do not understand how City can cash in on M. Woolford and Y.Bolaise be looking to sale A.Adomah and not bring in any wide talent to replace these. the only guess is City are in a lot of money trouble and can not afford to keep there best players. there has also been talk of City willing to let either S.Baldock or S.Davies leave the club.(not now Taylor is injured i'm guessing) WHAT IS GOING ON AT ASHTON GATE??? (prepairing for the drop?) ed.....?

Leeds united were today looking to finalise move for Bristol City frontman Jon Stead. Stead, 29, was not Warnocks preferred choice yet the financial situation at Elland Road meant that these cannot meet the asking price of SV Zulte Waregem for Habib Habibou, paving the way for Yorskhire born Stead to return north.

Hull City:
Adomah - Bristol City - £2,000,000 - £3,000,000

Neil Warnock is believed to be looking at Bristol City striker Jon Stead and Wolves frontman Sylvain Ebanks-Blake should a move for SV Zulte Waregem striker Habib Habibou fall through. Stead, 29, is out of contract in the summer so Bristol city may choose to cash in now. Ebanks-Blake is subject of a failed bid believed to be from Hull, with Wolves holding out for £2m for the 26 year old who also interesting Palace. Also heard rumours of a move for former Birmingham striker Njazi Kuqi.

No I mean the loan windows too long. Think it goes on until the end of march and we wont be linked to many players like we are in the transfer window. So we'll leave it to single threads unless of course you want to comment on here then that's no problem <ok>

Boss says transfer business will take time.

Steve Cotterill says there will be no post-season transfer rush at Ashton Gate.

The City boss has six loan players on the books currently, while the contracts of a number of other first-team players will expire during the close season.

But he insisted: “There will be a calm-down period at the end of the season and nothing will happen straight away.

“I won’t rush into anything. I’ll have a good think about things.

“I may address a couple of things before going away on holiday, but even then I’ll be on my phone all the time otherwise I get bored!

“We’ll have to sit down, look at the squad and see where we might be imbalanced.

“We tried to address it as best as possible during the season but we couldn’t do it all; it just wasn’t possible.”

City’s loan sextet are: Simon Moore, Nyron Nosworthy, Simon Gillett, Wade Elliott, Tyrone Barnett and Martin Paterson.
