28 Jan 2013 23:02:14 Little movement expected in or out at Bristol City this week. Mcfadzen deal with Crawley put on hold as doubts about fitness, and this may now happen in the summer. Other players coming in will be loan deals in February once the window shuts. Bids have been received for Adomah, but club not likely to sell unless silly money is offered (at least 2.5m up front)28 Jan 2013 20:00:30 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 28 Jan 2013 20:00:30 Millwall have had a bid turned down for Bristol City forward Steven Davies 28 Jan 2013 12:21:29 Crystal Palace have agreed a fee for Bristol City's Sam Baldock after missing out on Sheffield United's Nick Blackman 28 Jan 2013 18:58:41 Watford are looking to strengthen their squad with a bid for Albert Adomah from Bristol City 28 Jan 2013 10:37:43 Bristol City to take Dan Harding on loan from Nottingham Forrest. City also looking at Oldham striker Matt Smith to Replace the injured Ryan Taylor. Jon Stead has been told he won't be having his contract renewed next season. Along with other first team players suck as Marvin Elliott and Louis Carey.
Going to need 2 new centre backs for next season if we are still in the championship unless Bates can get fit enough to show S O'D how good he used to be.
29 Jan 2013 11:20:03 Bristol City have said that Marvin Elliot, Cole Skuse and Jon Stead will not be offered a new contract. all 3 of these have contracts running out end of this season. I also do not understand how City can cash in on M. Woolford and Y.Bolaise be looking to sale A.Adomah and not bring in any wide talent to replace these. the only guess is City are in a lot of money trouble and can not afford to keep there best players. there has also been talk of City willing to let either S.Baldock or S.Davies leave the club.(not now Taylor is injured i'm guessing) WHAT IS GOING ON AT ASHTON GATE??? (prepairing for the drop?) ed.....? 29 Jan 2013 11:54:58 Leeds united were today looking to finalise move for Bristol City frontman Jon Stead. Stead, 29, was not Warnocks preferred choice yet the financial situation at Elland Road meant that these cannot meet the asking price of SV Zulte Waregem for Habib Habibou, paving the way for Yorskhire born Stead to return north. 29 Jan 2013 11:39:06 Hull City: Adomah - Bristol City - £2,000,000 - £3,000,000
Don't hold your breath waiting for any Bristol City signings S O'D is waiting til the option to loan players starts again in a week
31 Jan 2013 10:53:25 Neil Warnock is believed to be looking at Bristol City striker Jon Stead and Wolves frontman Sylvain Ebanks-Blake should a move for SV Zulte Waregem striker Habib Habibou fall through. Stead, 29, is out of contract in the summer so Bristol city may choose to cash in now. Ebanks-Blake is subject of a failed bid believed to be from Hull, with Wolves holding out for £2m for the 26 year old who also interesting Palace. Also heard rumours of a move for former Birmingham striker Njazi Kuqi. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 31 Jan 2013 09:43:13 several championship clubs after striker Paddy Madden at Yeovil Town, He has scored 13 times this season in 18 apps. No rush over decisions â Cotterill please log in to view this image Boss says transfer business will take time. Steve Cotterill says there will be no post-season transfer rush at Ashton Gate. The City boss has six loan players on the books currently, while the contracts of a number of other first-team players will expire during the close season. But he insisted: âThere will be a calm-down period at the end of the season and nothing will happen straight away. âI wonât rush into anything. Iâll have a good think about things. âI may address a couple of things before going away on holiday, but even then Iâll be on my phone all the time otherwise I get bored! âWeâll have to sit down, look at the squad and see where we might be imbalanced. âWe tried to address it as best as possible during the season but we couldnât do it all; it just wasnât possible.â Cityâs loan sextet are: Simon Moore, Nyron Nosworthy, Simon Gillett, Wade Elliott, Tyrone Barnett and Martin Paterson.
