Cillian Sheridan- any good on the floor? Can he see the ball down there from 6ft 5 inches?
Was I mistaken in hoping that City would model their style on the better nations in Europe who play keep ball until they are ready to pounce. Rather than hoping for drop downs from a great height.

At 23 a good age - 110 senior appearances and 24 goals - hardly prolific in terms of goals. However partnered with a nippy goalscorer???

Bristol City main transfer targets are as follows:
Keeper - Boaz Myhill
Centre Half - Richard Keogh - McInnes wants a right footed centre-half to compliment Liam Fontaine so prefers Keogh to Mcmanus who is left sided. Also the player wants to move back to the Brizzle area
Striker - Ross McCormack - though if Leeds want £2m for him this is unlikely to go ahead for a player out of contract next summer
Left Back - Paul Dixon has gone quiet - is agaent asking for too much money?

Jon Stead wanted by Leeds and Huddersfield. Leeds to offer McCormack as part of deal which would see Bristol City pay £500,000 to part with their star striker.

McGivern looks set to join Bristol City o permaent deal from Man City. Clubs have agreed a fee of £150,000 however, McGivern is yet to agree deal although wages have been offered that wil make him one of the best paid players at City.

What has McGivern done in his short career to justify high wages? We should be looking for much more equality of salary levels among the squad rather than a lot more for some than others.
This scenario has existed for the last three years and that could be the biggest reason why some appeared not to be pulling their weight as the felt undervalued by the management/ club.

McGivern is never good enough to justify being one of the higher paid players.
From what I saw of him I would be looking elsewhere anyway and hope DM does that.
Unfortunately if they want £150k that would be the typical range that City are happy to spend.
How many millions have we thrown away at £200k a time for players that don't deliver......???

he helped shore up our defence near end of season and made us look more threatening down the left hand side and got i the way alot of shots bound for our net not the quickest but not a bad footballing brain on him

Bristol city looking to sign soon to be free agen Kyle lafferty. Which could make the way for Jon stead to Leeds in p/e for Ross McCormack deal.

Seen on otib that the Preston fans think we are in for iain Hume

Good shout they seem disappointed and say he's there best player, is 28 thought he was older! And now play as an attacking midfielder if memory serves me right, think he is also a dead ball specialist would be happy if this is true

I'd rather we use pitman, but if stead goes and we have pitman and Ross upfront then we would be forced to keep it on grounds it could work both ways
