If we signed the original Adomah , THEN , I would be impressed. We sign a player who’s been compared to the next Adomah by some who’ve seen him played, and yet some are still not impressed.

You can argue that our most consistent players have come from League One or below, Flint, Smith, Pack, O'Dowda, Brownhill , Maynard didn't do so bad stepping up either. Also Bryan and Reid improved from loans down there!I’ll reserve judgement until I have seen how he performs at Championship level.
It’s a big step up, but so it was for Dele Ali and Vardy so it can and has been done many times.
Sounds like he has Reid-like work rate, but never been a prolific finisher. Time will tell, but there will be some question marks over this, although he has not insignificant experience in both the Premiership and Championship.Weimann deal done. Brought in as a striker, not ideal.
Yeah a bit like the Wilbraham signingWeimann deal done. Brought in as a striker, not ideal.
Yeah a bit like the Wilbraham signing![]()
He'd better!!Matty Taylors time to shine![]()
He'd better!!
Hope the chosen one gives him game time.
Will Weimann play down the middle with Djuric till Fammy gets back ?
Or maybe Weimann with Paterson as per early last season, Reid and Paterson.
Doesn't Watkins like playing in the middle as well as wide ?
Not sure where that leaves Taylor.
I Don't think he will play two big men up top unless we are going for it at the end,Taylor,Weimann alongside him.
However was chatting to a Rovers shareholder reckons he is best played behind a front two in a triangle, but he is not a man you want up top as a lonesome striker.
I doubt it, he will be part of the Marriott deal if it ever happens, but it is still a possibilityHe will, full confidence in him.
Hope the chosen one gives him game time.
