We have no idea. That’s my point. There’s plenty of evidence to suggest we are having cash flow issues. Acun is putting in money via a loan from Santander leveraged against Acun Medya. That doesn’t exactly show signs of a healthy cash flow within a football club

I saw something I shouldn't have around 12 months ago suggesting the clubs itself's commercial creditworthiness was actually less than my own.

Acun admitted we’re behind on our payments to suppliers because we’re waiting on a transfer fee from another club. That means we don’t have enough liquidity to settle our debts on time. That means we’re skint and operating hand-to-mouth.

You'd think that much was obvious, wouldn't you?

The only evidence you have for us not being skint is the owners say so, who has an obvious vested interest in saying so.

Yet failure to pay bills and getting an EFL sanction is not enough evidence for you huh?

Ah well, you can take a horse to water...

We've just paid off Villa and Man City and will clear overdue creditors. Players keep getting paid. That's evidence! Yes there's been issues but we simply don't know the ins and outs. We (he) clearly are not skint though.
We are going round in circles so let's leave it there and see what comes.

Most businesses losing however many £K a week would have a poor credit score / worthiness, saying that recent signs are not looking good for the club generally , a lot could / will depend on the outcome of the appeal and length of sanctions...

I still have hope...

And yes it's what gets you...

Though been here before - just wish we wasn't again..

My hope is that he can make good on his commitments, but there lies the question.

If he can, then why hasn't he?

And if we're not skint then why are the outstanding supplier invoices only 'being paid' as opposed to 'been paid'?

I fear you'll have more words to eat by the time this finishes playing out.

How do you know these bills haven’t been paid just because we got found out?

I’m not saying it’s definitely the truth, but it’s not beyond the realms of possibility. I don’t think we can determine any sort of facts just because we now happen to have paid off debts we’ve been called out on.

How do we know the bills have been paid with liquidity from the club or more leverage from Acun Medya?

The inference appears to be that Acun Medya paid the footballing arrears and the suppliers 'will be paid' and I believe a chunk of the TV money drops quite imminently - so I expect that's why they are still 'in the process'.

Serious simple question .... what is "absolute rubbish" in that statement? What exactly should he be embarrassed about when writing that?
I'll give you the £100 mill squad value if you like, although he does caveat it with 'potential'. IF they fulfilled their full potential maybe it gets at least somewhere near to that figure, but at this moment in time (which isn't what was said), and most likely in the fullness of time too it's wishful thinking. Not wanting another debate about the values as that's already now been done.
But for you to write your post above, you must surely be meaning far more than just the £100 million bit. So what exactly is the "absolute rubbish" and please tell us all how you know. Ta
I always love when you answer your question for me.

I don’t agree. The club is spending more on wages than it earns. Whilst this isn’t unusual for championship clubs it does create problems when the source of money coming in to bridge the gap is a problem.

For one reason or another that appears to be the case. None of us likely know the damage but I suspect the next set of accounts won’t make pretty reading.

The club itself is struggling and the EFL are asking for proof of sustainability. That’s as big a fact as any. Local suppliers have commented publicly they’re owed money. That’s either bad practice or bad cash flows. I suspect it’s a combo of both.

Acun has said repeatedly he is willing to bridge the gaps in the club. If that was the case then why hasn’t he done that to avoid EFL sanctions or even avoid coming close? It’s either a sign of severe cash flow issues be it club or owner or very bad practice.

The club spent more in transfer fees than it’s brought in. That’s a fact that would show towards potential cash flow issues. Top this with a top 10 wage bill with a bottom 10 revenue stream. We are running a very fine line.
It’s remarkable how you keep repeating the same points over and over but believe you’re making a new insightful point each time.

Acun has confirmed the club has had cash flow problems. Cash flow problems stem from temporary liquidity shortages. This is not the same as insolvency (where we really would be in the ****). A business can face the former without facing the latter if it has sufficient assets or future income potential.

Theres no evidence in the public domain that Acun doesn’t have the assets within the companies he owns to be able to raise funds to cover the outstanding debts. The fact both debts to other clubs were both immediately settled to remove the threat of the more serious sanction of a transfer embargo is evidence of this.

I genuinely don’t know what you expect to happen if enough fans like you convince the owner he’s not welcome whatever he does.

Under what scenario does the owner putting the club up for sale mean anything other than even more uncertainty for years to come versus a more likely scenario where we get the fee ban reduced to one window, the Manager gets us through to January in mid table and then we see where we go from there.

I’ve got an idea, why don’t you colour your replies to each other, in crayon if you like as you’re acting like ****ing kids. That way we can just fly past all this ****. I’ve just popped on to see if there is any news, 157 posts… 154 of ****ing nonsense, so by colouring in your replies I can just flick past them..
You really are embarrassing yourself!!!!!
