I've explained what I meant, and it suits you to ignore it. Now you're just being obtuse. I'm done with it. At least one of us needs to have enough self awareness to see how much more tedious this is making an already very tedious thread, and frankly, after getting home from a 15 hour day I really can't be ****ing arsed wasting my time with it. Have a decent night and genuinely, try not to let Acun Ilicalli consume you and try to calm down with those who would rather not burn him at the stake just yet.

You made a bogus claim and when challenged on it, you showed your arse. Convenient way for you to back down from it.

Can I ask a question of the ITKs? I have been out of the loop for a bit and only started logging back in regularly at the end of the season. There has been some general references to an interest in the club from a consortium led by Ehab. Maybe I’m just being hopeful (or misunderstanding things completely) but would someone be good enough to clarify the position regarding this and/or if there are any other potentially interested parties in taking over the club?
Sorry if all this has been said before.

I've heard nothing of any consortium with Ehab, not that I think he would want to work with one anyhow. There was an attempt to form a local consortium to buy the club off the Allams, but the asking price was too high, but it was looked into, people were approached and the intention was genuine. I believe some of those asked to join moved on and bought Rovers instead. All I've heard from someone who would know and I was told it a year ago is that the serious money people in this city now are the owners of Hull Fc and they would be the most likely candidates, if they were interested. I have no idea if they are or not.

The people who own Hull FC aren't from Hull mate. And they don't want anything to do with City in that sense. They actually hope to get their own stadium sooner rather than later.

I realise that Jim, they are from Leeds? The guy who told me that knows his stuff, mixes in those circles, and had no reason to bullsh!t me. He thought it was great news that we had people like that 'in Hull' now. Didn't mean they had to live or come from here. If you want to know the fellas name pm me.
He didn't try to suggest that they would be interested in City either.

Sorry I thought you meant they were Hull people. Yes they're seriously wealthy but probably not going to burden themselves with a football club given the size of the project they already have.

In that case they need to get a move on , their lease at the MKM is running down rapidly. :emoticon-0138-think

If you’re one of these businesses owed a decent chunk of money (five or six figures) and it’s overdue several months, you’d be fuming that the business that owes you is paying to take City fans on a jolly in just over a week.
