Reading comprehension AND boot licking in the same sentence here. Didn't expect to get a double on my 'cliche 606 playground ****' bingo card in one short post.

I've not said anything about this situation yet. I'm waiting for the actual facts to come out first, and want to see what happens next before I cast judgement... If we're allowed to do that? On the matter at hand, does it look good? No. Do we know the details yet? No. Are we ****ed? I hope not, but right now we don't know.

This thread is a nightmare to keep up with though. You've got some people trying to stay calm and waiting to see what happens (fair enough), some people trying to make heads or tails of what's going on (fair enough), some people attempting the latter, but adding stuff they've made up, or are guessing at (a little bit weird) and some people wading in with the 'I told you so's' and genuinely loving the situation regardless of denying that they apparently don't (really weird).

Who is loving it? I haven't seen anybody genuinely celebrating this revelation as what they're glad to see.

Ok im confused. Have Saliport unexpectedly ended their sponsorship because of the embargo news. Or have they ended the sponsorship because we’ve agreed a more lucrative deal with another sponsor?

My post wasn’t even aimed at you? I get annoyed at the specific poster because he’s on the other end of the spectrum unwilling to acknowledge any faults in this regime

I never said it was aimed at me. As for not acknowledging fault, we don't know the ins and outs of what's happened yet, or what's going to happen next. 'Know' is the key word there. I just find it strange that people jump straight into insult in attempt to kick someone when they're trying not to be down.

Because the poster in question is also happy to quite quickly jump to insults? He thinks changing his username to mock people is the height of comedy and regularly has a go at anyone expressing concern about the club. Perhaps if the term 'boot licker' is regularly directed at him there's a bit of fire where there's all that smoke..

Three days on. Loads of comments, speculation, innuendo and intrigue, but still as clear as mud!
Sounds like a decent thriller with no end or solution. Keep up the good work. I'll stay tuned in and await the definitive word.

'The drama' has been going on since this news broke. 'The drama' is coming from people who are judge, jury and executioner before the detail has become knowledge - we'd be better with the Allams back, the club's going bust, Acun lied on Monday, he's a crook etc etc. **** me for making that point though, right?

It's not even that I disagree with those points either. We simply don't know yet - so my pitchfork is staying where it is for now until it becomes clearer. I don't understand how some of the comments aimed at people who, if anything, are staying calm about it, are justifiable.

Makes it easier if we just stick to what we do know and ignore the hearsay.

The EFL punished us for a late payment to Villa for the Barry loan fee. Acun seems confident nothing was late and as things were agreed with the Villa owner and we apparently have it documented. At the appeal they'll either agree with our excuse or they won't

Isn't that about it?

Not sure about that.

What we know so far:

Missed Barry loan payment
Haven’t paid Blackpool for Joseph
Other missed payments to football creditors
Wages have been paid late
Small local companies haven’t been paid
Acun hates kittens and puppies

These are facts. What we don’t know yet is the extent of just how bad some of these things are.

Where’s your proof that some posters want the club to fail and are enjoying this?

What we do know currently is that we are in a fee restriction. The fact of that is that well ran clubs don’t even dare run the risk of being at the behest of an EFL punishment.

What I also know as Syd has pointed out is that AcunsBurnerAccount has been quick to knock down any concerns be they genuine or OTT. I take no joy in what the club is going through and I find it harsh to suggest I would. I got annoyed at him because he went “Yawn” at a post of mine where I expressed genuine concerns on facts we did know.

Whatever happens after this. Acun has likely damaged the reputation of the club even if the restriction is lifted. It will weigh into negotiations with players who are choosing between us and say a Preston or Charlton. In the same way overreacting to this situation isn’t needed underplaying it and not acknowledging it for what it is, is just as damaging as it’s constantly waiting for his PR spin to become fact.

I said it once and I’ll say it again, good clubs don’t get transfer restrictions. FACT

If they are facts! Let’s have them then.Just hearsay!
List them in detail if you know them to be factual.
No doubt this week will bring some clarity from Acun and the Club. The supporters don’t deserve all this speculation and nonsense.
