We will still be getting payments for KLP Philogene and Greaves. Surely can’t they just knock a million off the Philogene deal to pay for it? Must be more money we owe all over the spot.

Think you're probably putting too much stock in when their website is updated. The club have confirmed it anyway.

That's not to say there isn't scope for it to be reduced or removed if we can prove financial stability. But I assume there'd need to be some sort of EFL oversight for that to happen.

It's a part of the procedure:
On the dedicated Embargo Reporting page on EFL.com, Clubs under embargo will be detailed, along with the reason for their embargo. i.e. the Regulation the Club has failed to comply with.

Once placed under a registration embargo, Clubs have two Business Days to secure the removal of the Embargo before the Club’s name and reason for Embargo is published on the Embargo Reporting Service.

Feels like you of two days to solve it before its ratified,

But we were informed we were under a provisional embargo on Monday. It was ratified yesterday to take effect today.

That's my reading of it anyway.

I get what you're saying and that might be right but the EFL guidelines don't mention a temporary embargo as standard + we're not listed.

Got to watch it play out I guess

'kinell... Offline for 24 hrs and more drama.. isn't summer supposed to be the quiet time?

How long does ratification take, surely only a few days. I can get Puerta if his deal only became official after the loan finished. But Reda Laalaoui signed ages ago.

I imagine it's to do with the contract start date, likely 1st July.

We could be -20 points deducted
Transfer banned for 5 years
and acun would still have some sychophants saying its overblown

The Independent Football Regulator can’t come soon enough.

Technically, no governing body can force an owner to divest their shares but at the very least they could suspend ****s like him from participating in football operations so he can’t do anymore damage.

I know it's not Mike White's fault and he's only reporting what he's told, etc, but I wonder if he could bring us some good news some time in the next decade!
Was going to say he reminds me of those BBC and Sky journos during covid

50000 MORE DEATHS RECORDED TODAY. I AM TOLD LOCKDOWN IS IMMINENT BUT NEED FURTHER CLARIFICATION

I don't know if that's fair, Brady - some aren't interested or want to expend energy on negative drama so just wait and see what happens and deal with it then. Others feel genuine anger at the situation and are vocal about it. Everyone is a city supporter. Not sure anyone is a sycophant.

Waiting to see as info comes out is fine. But there are some still willing to defend this **** show.

Good owners don’t put their clubs into transfer embargo’s or even dare run the risk

I presume the 'provisional embargo' as reported was the 2 day period you are referring to, just the vocabulary is differing between the formal EFL guidelines and how the press are describing essentially the same thing.

Ther are definitely some sycophants, but they're a decreasing minority.
