If anybody isn't aware of what's happened or doesn't quite understand the cash flow problems, do the following:

1) Load up whatever copy of Football Manager you have and start a career as any small/medium but financially stable club.

2) Agree as many long term deals as you can structured so that you pay nothing up front immediately, therefore seemingly bypassing the lack of funding you have.

3) Go on Holiday mode for a year.

4) Exit holiday mode.

5) Check your finances.

That big red number you'll see is effectively what's happened.

Which we can’t because we’re not sustainable and he’s probably ran out of lines of credit to fund the club.

Ffs just seen this.
I’ve just been talking to Wednesday fans about their problems which came via Liam Palmer( and are way worse than ours). Then I come home to read this.
I’m not kidding when I say this but **** the **** dreamy owners, **** the greedy Agents and **** the under performing overpaid players, **** FIFA,EUFA,The premier League.
They collectively have destroyed the game I love.

Whether you are for or against Acun, for those calling him a conman et al... this fella has come in and spent £80 million of his own money trying to deliver us all a dream. How much have each of us invested. Some of us think long and hard. He has given us some hope when before there was none. If it has gone tits, and thats yet to be proven, call Aston Villa also. Did I imagine it or did we have one of these under the previous owners? Never seemed to be much of an issue apart from that one season, although we did have Bowen and the remnants of a Premier league squad.

Yeah he mentioned us on a podcast recently without divulging info which was interesting. He said only a year or so ago that we were brilliantly run when I expressed concern over our sustainability so who knows.

We had a one window ban due to a loan from Covid. That can be lifted but I’m under the impression these 3 window bans are here to stay
