It’s not that simple tho mate
If he walks the club will be 60 or more million in debt to the banks
Thats administrators in and we are ****ed

I get that Chazz. Just stirring the pot. It sounds as though there is more to it than we imagine. If the transfer targets are weighing up their options this the last thing we need to hear right now.

Depends what he put up as collateral when he took out the loan/s to buy and finance the club. Unlike Reading’s owner, he couldn’t put the stadium up as collateral as we don’t own it. He could’ve put the club itself up as collateral which would mean the bank takes over the entire club and squeezes every penny out of it to get some of their money back.
NatWest FC

Yeah but I thought he said the club owes “him” the money. I might be reading too much into that but it sounds to me “he” or his media company owe the banks and not the club

Yeah, Acun Medya, not the club, will owe the banks. However, when he bought the club, he would’ve needed something to put up as collateral to secure the loans. He may have put Lewis-Potter and Greaves’ potential transfer fees as high-value assets up as collateral for at least one of the loans (known in football as ‘forward funding’). I don’t think those two as assets will have covered all the other loans and I can’t think of any other assets he could’ve put up as collateral except the club itself.

If anybody isn't aware of what's happened or doesn't quite understand the cash flow problems, do the following:

1) Load up whatever copy of Football Manager you have and start a career as any small/medium but financially stable club.

2) Agree as many long term deals as you can structured so that you pay nothing up front immediately, therefore seemingly bypassing the lack of funding you have.

3) Go on Holiday mode for a year.

4) Exit holiday mode.

5) Check your finances.

That big red number you'll see is effectively what's happened.

Or acun media as collateral, that’s what generated his income/lifestyle ?

...and we think FC Massive have problems......

Hoping it's a load of dogshit, but..nothing at HCAFC would shock or surprise me...

Where do you recomend to go on holiday toast ?

It’s not impossible he would’ve put Acun Medya up as collateral but it’s very unlikely. Acun Medya is still his main source of revenue. He’d let us crash and burn before he lets his company that actually makes money go under.
Yeah I get that but when he bought us, what was we worth with no ground. Not a great deal. Considering what he’s borrowed/spent.
He was pretty adamant owe him the money….but like I say I’m maybe reading too much into that

I put it down to this:

This might be a technicality - but with the amount of smoke coming from the club since the Rosenior sacking (not just that before anyone tells me to get over it - I'm talking a multitude of thing) I no longer have faith in Acun running the club.

Either we are being run by someone who has no business sense (particularly in English football) or we are being run by a fraud.

I don't want either at the club. Time to go.

You must log in or register to see media

The people at the club who believe we have a case is actually one person - Acun. The others who think the ban will stand are Dublin, Hodge and any other **** with half a brain cell.

So we can get the ban reduced or removed or we don’t actually have it yet…. I’m lost :)
