Whether you are for or against Acun, for those calling him a conman et al... this fella has come in and spent £80 million of his own money trying to deliver us all a dream. How much have each of us invested. He has given us some hope when before there was none. If it has gone tits, and thats yet to be proven, call Aston Villa also. Maybe this will result in the sale of the club or an investor coming in, I still have hope that we will be ok.

If he’s borrowing money from banks to fund us, it isn’t his money. It’s the banks’ money. Those banks still need to be paid back with interest.

And how is it Aston Villa’s fault?

Because as he made clear, the money is owed to him and Acum Media. .... and its Villa surely who blew the whistle.

Nothing anything Acun has ever said can be considered ‘clear’ but okay. The club owes money to Acun Medya… who owe it to banks… so it isn’t his or Acun Medya’s money to begin with.

Yeah, I’m not going to blame a club for looking out for their own interests and wanting to be paid money owed to them on time. The blame is entirely on Acun.

Innocent until proven guilty. I'm sticking my neck out here and will say I don't believe the owner would ever put this Big Beautiful City and its fans in such a perilous position. If he has he's a xxxx and should leave immediately, simple!

It’s not that simple tho mate
If he walks the club will be 60 or more million in debt to the banks
Thats administrators in and we are ****ed

I’m concerned about any other outstanding payments to other clubs. We’ll owe a fair chunk to Blackpool for Joseph as it will be paid in instalments. It points to us not having the cash available to fulfil the club’s obligations to other clubs and businesses.

But don’t we owe him the money and he owes the banks. So acun media weather money?

Depends what he put up as collateral when he took out the loan/s to buy and finance the club. Unlike Reading’s owner, he couldn’t put the stadium up as collateral as we don’t own it. He could’ve put the club itself up as collateral which would mean the bank takes over the entire club and squeezes every penny out of it to get some of their money back.

Yeah but I thought he said the club owes “him” the money. I might be reading too much into that but it sounds to me “he” or his media company owe the banks and not the club
