I was cautiously optimistic.

Are you now saying you’re disappointed I’ve not been completely negative in the last few weeks? ****ing hell. Can’t win with some of you lot.

Certainly not disappointed about something /anything that's not yet known for sure either way.
Not going worry about stuff that doesn't directly affect me and things I can't do anything about.
Happy to go along with the wait and see stance. What will be will be.
Again I just find it amusing that so many will jump onto anything that gets posted (either way, good news or bad) without at least waiting a little bit to see which way the wind is blowing.

Is the 3 window ban a final decision? Or can it be appealed if payments are made?

According to the HDM, City are confident of winning an appeal having paid the first installment of the Barry loan fee

You know how much of a basket case the club has to be for this to happen at all? It means we don’t have any emergency funds in the club’s coffers to cover things like this and the late payment of wages a few months ago. All the money to finance the club is via offshore accounts.

The EFL won’t rescind the embargo because the club can’t demonstrate it’s financially sustainable. According to the Telegraph and HDM, the late payment of the Barry loan fee was the straw that broke the camel’s back. We’re unreliable. The payment being paid now doesn’t change that.
