plain sailing now... poo or bust 51 points up for grabs and we need to take 26 of them. . . impossible to get top 6! minimum likely to be 73 -75 pts relegation more involved usually 6 teams in a tussle at the mo just 5 ... Cardiff Peterbro Barnsley with a game in hand over the points deducted pair....... we look safe!!!
We also have a team beginning to gel. .. there is an old adage best form of defence is to attack.. not in dying minutes sub attacking players for defenders and drop 2 points!

I see you've still got Wells and Palmer then - Pearson obviously has a cunning plan.
seems like it! maybe getting some cash in bank. and keeping as reserves .. sell Semenyo...........aaaaargh!!! £25m sell Scott £20m arrrrrrrgh Sell Goalie £6m + plus previous sell on's £6m = WSC ....... <whistle><whistle>

Even if the players agreed to a move we wouldn’t want to let them go to a team around us in the table, and they’re the only teams realistically that would be interested.

Edit
Plus we are short in numbers, they may be needed if our injuries get worse. Hopefully in the summer we’ll be able to replace them.

Take your point about not wanting them to go to teams around you in the table, but if they're as piss poor as most on here suggest, why should that matter?

That's my thinking, but they're not piss poor IMO, which is not shared by many on here!
Wells isn't getting any game time, so of course he's not scoring or building confidence and IMO, Palmer on his day is a very good player.....seems to me that him and NP don't see eye to eye for whatever reason....but he is talented that's for sure..

No idea if you're right onefor - not followed either of their careers closely, but Pearson has got a history of being very confrontational and dogmatic with his players.

Being opinionated is one thing - we've all got them, but when it gets in the way of reason, then it can cause as many problems as it solves. Right or wrong, he wants his own way and if you're going to take the praise, you should expect some flak when it doesn't work out.

I don’t think anyone would say they are piss poor, just not worth the extortionate wages we are paying.

That's not what I've read from many on this forum. Anyway, very few are really worth their wages in football, and it's hole dug by the clubs themselves.

We've got one called Bacuna at CCFC - on £27K a week and can't be bothered. We can blame Warnock for signing him, but it was the club that sanctioned it.

Before COVID it’s what you had to pay for even decent championship players, even now the wages are still ridiculous, but that’s life

Aye - but Bacuna's not even decent......<laugh>

We took on keeper Alex Smithies @ £33k a week when we went up to the Prem. It was a reasonable punt at the time and he's still a very good keeper, but not at that sort of money in the Championship.

People are comparing their (lack of) value for money with the regular first-teamers.
They are NOT ****e but not worth the wages we are paying them - as AshtonRed said.
It makes people angry and frustrated because it’s stopped us trading in the market.
