East Yorkshire
Didn't we lay a new pitch at the training ground ahead of last season?

Regardless, it seems we're laying a new one now...

It doesn't look like we've knocked down the Little Chef building yet.

There's a lot of top soil there, perhaps they're levelling the whole site. Wasn't there injury inducing holes around there last season?

Hull City's £1.5m training ground facelift forces Tigers on their travels

Hull City will spend the majority of pre-season away from East Yorkshire as the club's Cottingham training ground continues its £1.5m facelift.

Steve Bruce and his squad will head straight out to an extended warm-weather training camp in Portugal on July 6 to begin preparations for the Championship season, only returning to England in time to face local neighbours North Ferriby United on July 17.

A short spell at home brings a second friendly against Chesterfield four days later before the Tigers then fly out to Austria for the games with German club Hannover and Al-Ain of the UAE Pro-League on July 26 and 29.

The final friendly comes against Sheffield United on August 2, the final chance for fine-tuning ahead of facing Huddersfield Town on August 8.

Despite suffering relegation from the Premier League in May, City have committed to a seven-figure overhaul of the club's training facilities at their Millhouse Woods Lane base.

The investment into the playing surfaces will see the same Desso system, part artificial grass, installed to replicate that of the KC Stadium pitch, including undersoil heating for the winter months.

I hope this is just the start of bigger plans.

Other clubs, in the premier league and the championship, are sinking multimillions into their training grounds and academies.

With the investment in the training ground over the last 3 years, the money pumped into devolping Bishop Burton plus the sale of Ideal Standard.
Surely we could of been at least half way to building a purpose built facility for the whole club??

Think if we'd stayed in the PL we would have been looking to do that.
Where would you suggest? Do we still have the land over at Melton?

When new signings come and have meetings about joining City and they take one look at our training ground, they must think that they have made the big time, not
