If Stoke are really interested
Championship team
Against first division
Mmmmm
I would imagine Stoke wouldnt give him first team games yet mate. They are pushing for play offs. He would likely play u23s and I reckon after playing 1st team footy he wouldnt want to do that. At least that is my naieve view, come and play some first team football.

He seems to be able to make a tackle without giving fouls away, much needed in the lower leagues.

But his sole intention, in possession, appears to be getting himself/the ball/both over the half way line and making a pass.

If we have people to take a pass, Pritchard, etc, that's job done and he can get back in position.

As people have said he looks like a 'Sunderland style player' ...

... a phrase I haven't used for about a decade <laugh>

and only 19 - so much scope to sharpen and polish the inevitable weaknesses. And for the first time in ages a setup that can be trusted to help him do that. All good stuff.

The only thing Scowen was good at was firing the ball over the bar. Just shows that we've now taken a much better approach and looking for young hungry players eager to show what they are capable of and also adding some experience that needs a new start.

He’s the worst player I’ve ever seen for that, I reckon about 85% of his shots went over the bar.

"Linfield just announced the departure of Trai Hume to Sunderland and Jamie Megarry of Linfield official media spoke to Trai about the move."
Good article that. Small world isn't it, scoring past Quinnys son, David Healy their manager and George McCartney one of their coaches.
