Never thought you were having a pop m8, just using Microsoft spell checker, I always have had problems with that damn word favour![]()
I park at the stadium, and to be fair don't care who was to blame, and know errors can be made. However people were rightfully getting frustrated with the stewards. I witnessed one man get out of his car and spoke to a steward, who in turn was getting argumentative. The next thing is the stewards called the police over to speak to the individual. Is it really a crime to voice your opinion? Then a female steward shouted that they were not to blame and that it was the police as they did not block the roads off. As we were driving away one of the other stewards was shouting that we could not do as good a job as him. To be honest I don't give a monkeys but think the downfall around the stadium when leaving is a lack of positive communication from the stewards. Rather than using 4 stewards to stop one car I think one should have walked along the queue talking to cars, explaining the situation, at least then people would have been more understanding towards them.

Traffic was a joke today, got home @ 6:35, 3 miles from the KC. last week was home only an hour later @7:35 from newcastle!
Putting those light on spring bank just added to chaos, absolute brainless who ever is in charge at the council of traffic/road works control..
If it's only three miles, would walking be a better option? You could be home for half five.
Traffic control..!!! That's a larf...Got chatting to a copper whilst sat in stationary traffic on Walton St. He blamed the council....Which knowing HCC I am not surprised about at all...
Spending £100k on getting an orchestra, when the 95% of Hull people couldn't give a toss about classical music. Then neglecting the City Centre which is piled high with litter. You couldn't make it up...Rant over.
This season is my first season driving and having a season parking pass, it it's true that Walton Street is closed next week, what measures are put in place in terms of Parking? Do you have to find your own alternative parking? Or are alternative means provided?
Or have I misunderstood altogether?
(Was getting out really that bad yesterday? I don't usually get out of the car park until about 5.40 and I got out at 6 last night... 20 minutes more is not really devastating).
I have to say i got home for quarter past five and live in Hessle. Never been any later than half five from a home game, not sure why you lot have all this trouble, should try and find somewhere else to park!
the season parking pass doesn't cover Hull fair week - it says it on the ticket - you have to find alternate parking yourself which means arrive very early, get the bus or walk -yesterday was as bad as I can remember - i have no idea why Walton street isnt closed from Spring Bank for an hour after full time as it would avoid much of the problem - but that involves someone with a brain which is clearly lacking with the organisation and management of traffic around the stadium on match days
