It’s now over 16 years since Town won a match against top six option. Can Town break the duck and go top of the table? I’ll kick us off with 3-1 Hull.
I'd take a draw all day long tonight especially as our first 5 CM's all out either injured or suspended. I'd be tempted to change system and go 532. Wolfy, Chambers and either Tonto or McG as Cb's, with ward and donacien the full backs. CM there isn't many options, so id go with Mcgavin, lanky and Huws, and if fit, Ollie and Norwood up top. Unfortunately I can't see us winning, and actually think we'll get tonked 3 or 4 nil
One of those games which could surprise us. Recent form and long list of injuries says a right hammering, especially if we concede early. You never know, an early goal, quicker more energised moving ball forward, catch them on the hop and stun them with a cracking goal, 1-0 half time, and go on to unlikely victory. So, neck out, 2-1 hard fought win, great performance, and we all love Paul. 7pm KO chaps.
Three forwards on the bench...let's hope we don't get anymore injuries. Just seen Emmanuel is starting for then, odds on he'll have a blinder?
Injuries have forced PL in to starting Judge in what I think is his best position which is at the front of a midfield 3. I would rather start Lankester wide than Sears but if we did that, we’d have no midfield cover on the bench. Happy with a draw tonight but would love 3 points against a top 6 side
A Championship standard side, really. We will have to raise our game massively from recent weeks to get anything out of this.
Why do we always drop off when the other team has a throw-in in their own full back areas? Surely these are the moments you put pressure on and box them in, hoping to win the ball high up the pitch.
2 down. Yet another injury and still no investigation of the training facilities / sports science. We are becoming a joke of a club ( I added the “becoming” to be polite)
