Well if you read my post it doesn't exactly say I want to be does it? Also if you don't like being criticized then don't damned well criticize others.

It would be foolish to doubt Mourinhos ability as a manager on the basis of funds spent as any manager in charge of a top club is going to spend money to buy the players he requires to mould his team, this isn't in question.
The reason Mourinho isn't a realistic option is, funnily enough...money, however this isn't because he needs money to be a success, it is down to the fact he has guided himself to a certain status in the game, which is managing the best teams in europe and winning the best prizes.
Does this include winning both European comps with Porto?
It's not me who's deluded on this one.
It's much in the same way he wouldn't coach AC Milan after Inter.
I would agree that the likelihood of him coming to Spurs is small. I just think it's not an impossibility. I also think that you are deluding yourself if you believe that this, so called, affinity would stop him from coming here.
It's not he only reason I admit but it'll play a part for definite.
It doesn't add up SW6. If you're saying that he won't come to Spurs after he managed Chelsea because we're fierce rivals like AC and Inter then you're wrong,we're not.
our fierce rivals are Arsenal,Yours are Fulham
I can't believe you called them pedantic, after that post, SW6!![]()

No, he didn't, TMT.
Wenger didn't, either.
Totally disagree, it doesn't matter one toss what he spent at Real or anywhere else, he spent it because he can, why on earth does everyone assume JM has to have money, and if he did arrive it would mean we have to find more...what a load of bollox. If he comes here, its under our terms accordingly, i'd like to see him perform with constraints personally. Who's to say he wouldn't want to prove he could do it. As for his football....they've scored more goals than Barca...very negative!![]()
Is that why half your board is full of Chelsea bile?

The simple reason Mourinho has to have money is because he doesn't work with the team he inherits, instead he always expensively reassembles it - it happened at Chelsea, it happened at Inter, it happened at Real, and the only way I can't say one way or the other for Porto is because I can't find transfer details from his two seasons there.
So, no, it isn't "bollocks" - there is a complete lack of evidence that he can operate under any form of financial constraints or work with the players he is given, so why risk finding out?
And, for the last time as this seems to keep going over your head, it's the constant diving, squaring up to opponents, and targeting opponents I have been critical of - but as you keep bringing up negative football, don't pretend Chelsea and Inter were overly-defensive units like you're pretending Porto, Chelsea, Inter and real are stuffed with divers and nasty pieces of work.
. Not much goes over my head mate, and I'm fairly sure players at Real, Inter etc were diving and using the dark arts of the game long before JM, and will continue to do so long after he's gone, so to attribute that to him is bollox imo. I agree the Chavs were defensive under him as were Inter, but he has shaken off that tag with Real, again imo. The fact you can't find megabucks deals at Porto might suggest there wasn't any, they haven't had money that I'm aware. A quick look at the teamsheet in the CL final reveals only Deco and Carvalho as names worth a mention....Very interesting thread but isn't it obvious that Mourinho will be succeeding SAF? Unless City persuade him to accept obscene sums of money.
I think Mourinho needs to massage his ego. He'll want to win LA Liga and CL with Real Madrid. That will look good on his CV alongside his triumphs at Inter, Porto and Chelsea. But where can he go then which isn't a backward step, where he could join the ranks of the great managers? There's only one place.
Is that why half your board is full of Chelsea bile?
"Full"? Really?
There is absolutely no doubting that we Spurs fans love to take the piss out of you Chavs every now and then, but it's hardly as though that's all we do![]()
