Are the other teams scared yet?

I don't recognise our team any more. I'm scared.

Got to pity Liverpool fans on Monday Willian was brilliant then he was overpriced and overrated.

They have all now gone in to a proper **** frenzy on twitter.

I read a highly amusing thread from one of their forums that had the whole rollercoaster ride, starting with excitement, then elation at him landing in England, before disappointment, anger and denial.
Then they all starting talking about who they should get, instead. The answer they came up with? Lamela! <laugh>

Not sure why so many think Gareth will flop. He will have so much space to run into, and Real will be the best team on the break in the world. Having Benzema, Ronaldo and Bale - Ozil and Xabi Alonso (when fit again) will have three good options to ping it too.

You can't double mark all three. Bale can destroy people with a bit of space, or if they sit deep he can score from range. Or if played on the left, whip in world class crosses.
If they do decide to gang up on him, then all the better for Ronaldo.

Di Maria is a waste of space from all the Games i've seen in the last three years. He doesn't score or assist as much as Bale will.

They may not win the league, but he wil make sure they give it a good go. Especially as Barca's biggest weakness is being hit on the break.

Its not just that with Barca now, I think that a lot of the teams in Spain and abroad have found ways to counter their possession game. I watched the first half of the Barca/A. Madrid game last night and Madrid were all over them, pressing hard and as you said, devastating on the counter. David Villa scored an exceptional goal to finish off a sweeping counter attack for them. It would be kind of funny to see Bale go to Real for SO much money and fail to win anything over Barca, but I get the feeling that unless Barca really sort themselves out and up their game (and deal with Messi's injury that they picked up last night) then Real could have a good look in La Liga this year.

Personally i'm not bothered about willian one way or the other. Would like us to get Lamela. Disappointed about Coentrau. Hope AVB and Benny kiss and make up tbh because I don't fancy a season with danny rose at left back.
