Ok Spurcat LOL. Back to the footie and I've just been sent an email that the goons are no longer in the hunt for Villa and we are faves for him. Also us and Everton are chasing a 19 year old tadpole from France.....Nangis. He's too young yet to be a frog.

No idea if this is true, but it's probably speculative rumour-mongering.
Tevez has joined Juventus, which probably frees up Higuian's path to the Goons, so who else was in for Villa?
Doubt there's any actual knowledge involved.

Sky was basically reporting it as a done deal earlier. Around the £10mil mark..

The Tevez deal? Yeah, it's everywhere. Even the BBC are running with it.
I should've been clearer, but I meant the knock-on from that is probably all speculation.
There has been a lot of noise about both of the other deals going through for the last few days, but I can't see how Villa's would with the Confederation's Cup going on.

I just hope that if it goes ahead, we get the Villa of old. I'm not sure about the post broken leg version...

I look forward to seeing this in the gossip pages tomorrow:

What an absolute crock of ****

It's almost funny it really is.

Edit - I do like the fact that, at the bottom of the page, it says 'Have you found any mistakes in this article? If so, please send us your correction.'

How's about the whole article?

Does anyone in Spain actually read it? I mean, it can't be that interesting with the same stories in it every day.
So even according to Marca he isn't gonna force a move. Great!

Oh, what project at Real? Is it the "project" where they bleed the government dry, sign the most expensive players and finish runners-up?
