Here's the problem we had for so much of the game: rather than take half a second to consider their pass, instead our players would either receive the ball and make a panicked pass in the vague direction of a teammate or just hoof the thing as far up the pitch as they could, with both options feebly giving away possession and inviting pressure onto the team approximately three seconds after passing the ball Somebody really needs to sit the team down and explain to them that sometimes the solid yet unspectacular recycled pass is far more important, because at times in the first half we looked like somebody who thought they could handle it if they upped the difficulty on FIFA and promptly realised that wasn't the best idea...
City are probably the strongest team in the World. They are going to destroy most teams they play. We have to bear that in mind when appraising this performance.
That scoreline does not do justice to how bad we were. We were always going to concede late on . The only positive is our gd was not butchered but very poor imho
