Pointless I’d say, in terms of incomings. Bale and Hojbjerg going off is fine as you wanna keep them fresh whilst Lamela was ****. I’d rather Lo Celso than Dele and would’ve liked Clarke on over Son. Son needs a proper rest.
I can see why Son is on, keeps them honest and keeps the level of the team up as well. Wouldn’t mind seeing GLC and Clarke get mins as the final two subs though, all being well. Suspect we’re keeping a sub spare for Kane for a bit longer in case of emergency.
