That's stupid by Reguilon. Never going to win that and it's a cheap free-kick for a player going nowhere.
Still not convinced by Moura on the left, but he seems to have a decent understanding with Vinicius already. Good sign.
Decent save from Hart, which he's had to do because of our **** end to the half. People switching off and coasting. Not good enough.
That's a terrible foul by Michorl on Vinicius to break up a good move. That's about his third and he's in the book.
2-0 HT. Some nice patches and good moves here and there, but a bit flat overall. Not creating enough, looking a bit dodgy at the back at times and not imposing ourselves in the midfield enough. Need to come out of the blocks quickly in the second half and make sure they don't get back into this.
Comfortable enough, but still a bit sloppy at times, too many loose passes, too many soft free kicks in dangerous areas, no one playing themselves into the first team so far.
2-0 up but a bit of a drab game so far. Get Lo Celso on for Winks to add some creativity, our front three when given the ball have looked quite dangerous but they’ve not had the ball enough and are coming too deep. Lamela has been non-existent too.
We’ve played well this half, some nice passages of play. Højbjerg has been the standout both on and off the ball. Vinicius is looking like he’ll be handy for us. Bale looks better than West Ham but still some way off where he needs to be to demand a starting place. I hope he gets 90 mins today because he needs the time to get his sharpness. Generally our forwards could do with more service, though the midfield has been largely able to deal with LASK’s press, which Jose flagged before the game. If they do get a goal it’ll come from that press. Hopefully as the game goes on they’ll start to tire and our pacy forward line can tell against a team who had to make two early subs. Need to come flying out of the blocks early second half and make our superiority tell. After that it’s all about the clean sheet.
LASK make another two changes. Potzmann and Eggestein replace and Andrade and Gruber. That doesn't take up one of their windows, so they've still got one sub left.
Hang on, how many subs do you get in the EL? Thought it was more players on the bench but still only 3?
