International break is timely for once. It's clear we need an enforcer in midfield and N'Dombele is not that, maybe he will become it but atm he is far too slow. That leaves us with Sissoko and today he worked his socks off as a right back and should not come in for criticism IMO. If it was simply lack of effort on the part of the team it would be fairly easy to fix but it's deeper than that IMO. We have to hope we have a proper right back fit after the break because right now Sissoko is essential in the midfield but he's no Dembele and that's the player we miss most of all.

  2. Well, I was looking for a response from the players today following the shambles against Bayern, and what we got was a shambles against a team that will probably be fighting relegation.

Unless Poch has given up coaching the players, it is they who must shoulder the blame for this.

The easiest thing for him to do would be to walk away, and I hope he doesn't do it. That would be playing into the hands of the lazy bastards who are the ones we should all be blaming.

My youngest had the year from hell in 2018...missed **** knows how much school with appts every week.

It was heart breaking yet she has spent all year trying her hardest and somehow ended up getting the equivalent of 3As 5Bs and 2Cs in her GCSE's.

I am truely proud of her...she still carrys on fighting even though she is still going through stuff.

I am glad she has more fight, self respect, honour, bravery, loyalty and resilience than the multi millionaires that played and showed none of those qualities.

I am not a drama queen and do not turn on the team and have only ever thought 1 manager should sacked but today is like a final straw

    They should be ashamed.

Couldn't give a toss what planet they live on...they owed us effort and failed miserably.
Honestly have nothing to say .

A season of no transfers, followed by Pochettino switching off and talking publicly about it.

    It’s a culmination.

Levy/ Poch not strengthening in 18/19.

Poch sticking to the same thing over and over again without fresh ideas. Somewhat expecting better results with the same formula.

Players no longer fighting for the cause.

It’s all fun at games at Spurs tbh.

Today was an opportunity to show that the players could bounce back after Tuesday.
    But they just surrendered meekly.
It was the clearest proof that things have gone badly wrong for Spurs behind the scenes.
It looks (from afar) that the problem lies with the dissenting players who are running down their contracts.
Somebody needs to do something decisive and quickly - having failed to do so in the summer.
The fault lies with Levy for not giving money to Poch 12-18 months ago when he was asking for it. That was a chance to ship out the unhappy players when clubs would have paid decent money for them and invest the proceeds in quality replacements

Do you not feel you can apportion the blame to some of the players too? Whilst the buck undoubtedly stops with the manager, the way some of your players have performed over the last two games is absolutely shocking. You can say that it's the manager's job to motivate them, but these are still seasoned professionals, being paid millions of pounds, who seemingly have no professional pride in doing the bare minimum expected of them.

I think you'd better keep our top four place warm for us for a couple of seasons!

Their confidence is shot after months of poor performances, awful tactics and disinterested coaching, in my opinion.
Anyone who has ever worked for someone that keeps making the same mistakes knows exactly how dispiriting it can be.
The players look knackered, depressed and like they're expecting another beating.

The most aggravating thing the week (barring the Tory conference...) is seeing every attempt at a solution contains more problems

The best example is Dele on Tuesday and Dier today, for the same reason: while on paper they look like we're changing things up and fixing issues in our side, in both cases they played like players who have been in and out of the side for six months due to various injuries, and contrary to what those on Twitter/Reddit who gained their coaching qualifications by playing FIFA they're not going to be up to speed the moment they're back in the team but only after a run of games

And that's the problem: half-fit players won't fix anything if they're starting games, they run the risk of being another problem to add to the pile - and yet we have a long history of doing this, with Harry Kane being rushed back into the team the second he's back in training after an injury, and it has to be said we have a similar habit with Dele, and at some point that's going to be a timebomb waiting to go off, and of course it's gone off when our form goes off a cliff this season

And he's got a proven record of scoring at that level, despite massive gaps between goals.
Needs to either retire or move to play more regularly, in my opinion. Looked great a few years back before his drought.

Losing the CL final has not helped, it would have been better to lose the semi. Some players now do not believe that they will win things at Spurs, these need to be moved on and the squad refreshed. Every squad needs refreshing and not signing anyone in two windows has also stagnated the team. New blood means getting challenged for a starting place, which means fighting for ones' place. If one does not care anymore, starting on the bench just means having a rest.

It is time to rebuild, big changes in January. Football needs a 'Rightmove' website where managers could advertise players for sale.

We also need midfield enforcer/Captain material to give players sh!t for not trying, It no coincidence that since Dembele suffered untold injuries then left we have not been the same team.

In other news, I think I'll steer clear of r/coys unless I can disable all comment featuring the word "Mourinho"

The bench looked disinterred too. Was that Rose hiding underneath that hoodie? Pretending he wasn't there. Stand up and do some yelling boys!
