*Ehab Allam punches his palm in an unconvincing show of bogus exasperation as another one 'escapes' him*
Sounds like you guys are having the same problems we have had for years with Bates, GFH and Cellino, finally we have managed to get ourselves someone decent, he isn't everyones cup of tea but he is a businessman first, football club owner second, puts just enough in to keep us onside. BTW - Not here gloating or anything like that, just think this is a good informative thread started by your op
Ola Aina has joined Torino on a season long loan with an option to buy. Joel Ward is due for a medical ahead of a loan move to WBA. Tiemouie Bakayoko has joined AC Milan on a season long loan deal with an option to buy. Callum Long has joined Oldham from Wigan until January. https://www.burnleyfootballclub.com/news/2018/august/mcmahon-signs-in/ Local lad (grew up in East Yorkshire, played for E York's school) done good, epitome of never giving up, released by Hull and Rotherham , now signed to a premier league hot bed of goalkeepers... already played international for Republic of Ireland at under 18
I’m pretty sure he was sat next to us at the game last night, with his mum and dad and wearing a Burnley track suit.
Good luck to the lad. A great opportunity to learn from a great group of keepers Burnley have managed to accumulate.
@Arsenal forward Joel Campbell to undergo medical tomorrow ahead of a permanent move to Serie A side @Frosinone1928 #SSN
Heard he is yearning to return to us as a stadium without a roof means the PAOK fans can't create the febrile, intimidating atmosphere of the KCOM.
meanwhile.....!!!! Actually on TS this morning a discussion saying that 80% of 16-212 year olds are released by clubs. A new venture being discussed is for them to pay to keep fit and then play in matches against others in the same boat, maybe using OOW managers too. The hope is, that then some clubs might see them in a playing situation where they haven't even been heard off before..
I would have thought the percentage would have been nearer 100% with the odd few retiring long before reaching 211.
