Bizarrely, Stoke are in advanced talks with Benik Afobe after a fee was agreed with Wolves, who only bought him on Friday.

Apparently it was part of the loan deal, they sign him if they go up, now realise they don’t want him, so flogging him for a couple of million profit.

Do you think word goes around these Irish lads about which Clubs are worth signing for? I’m guessing they must look after them there as Reading has not much of owt else going for it.
