I was always a massive fan Top Gear. I especially loved the Jezza, May and Hammond era. The specials, driving cars I'd never drive, it was always a good laugh. Then there were a few dog **** years, so I stopped watching. I thought it was done. But, I have to say, the new 3 are absolutely class. It has its own new identity and it is what it is. I'm a bit behind and just catching up. There was an episode where it was their Dads cars, they drove around the lake district with some stunning camera work, nostalgia, music and the lads telling stories about their Dads. I've just watched Paddy meeting Eddie Kid, stunt bike rider. I had a genuine lump in my throat watching it. If anyone gave up or don't want to give Flintoff and Paddy a chance, give it a go.

Done as requested. And I love the new top gear. It was funny when they had to buy their “first” car, the first car they drove after passing their tests!! Freddie was an England cricketer so you can imagine if you haven’t seen ut

I don't mind Chris but I don't like either Paddy or Freddie. I've tried to because I liked the show but it's not going to happen.

Very hit and miss for me. There are some terrific episodes but others aren't great. The banter feels very forced at times. I don't think anyone other than Clarkson and co. can really do that format.

I think it's great as well. Some of the episodes I've been laughing my head off, that one with the dam and Freddie was one of them. I've not really watched Grand Tour since Jezza and co. left other than the specials they do but I do watch all the Top Gears.

The issue is that who ever came in after was never going to do as well. They are trying to follow a trio who had genuine friendship and banter long before the show ever existed and it showed.

The new format is okay and a good show, but it’ll never hold a candle to the old format

Freddie is great - fearless so you get to see some mad things - like the episode on the dam.

However, I really can't stand Paddy's voice and wish to god he would contract covid, like Mrs D, and it would drop an octave or so'

Paddy is supposed to be the main presenter but the gig does not suit him.

Itd got to be a natural petrol head

Ditch Paddy and sign up Tim Shaw from Car SOS and the comedy element might not seem so rehearsed and forced.

Hammond, May and Clarkson are legends of Top Gear, so are never going to be bettered by any combination of presenters.

I remember saying after Clarkson etc left that they should replace them with the Car SOS lads.

Grand tours worth a look mate.
