I'm gonna have to do my best list based off videos and from talking to older relatives -

Best - Pele, Maradona, Garrincha, Best, Edwards (such a shame)

So many I had to miss out there.

Best currently - Messi, Ronaldo, Iniesta, Rooney, Ibrahimovic (guarantee there'll be at least one person here who thinks he's a bad player for whatever reason, feel free to present reasons why because that's always a fun discussion)

Favourites (excluding Saints) - Johan Elmander, Fabrice Muamba, Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, Keisuke Honda (can you tell I like attacking midfielders?)

<laugh>

He's attacking?!<laugh>

No, but neither is Elmander (he's a striker damnit Bolton, don't ruin him further Galatasaray), but my top 3 are all attacking mids/wingers/free roles/whatevers

That is a very good point :p

So obviously I liked Bolton last season! Like Owen Coyle, also Lee Chung-Yong, Stuart Holden, Gary Cahill, Jussi etc... but it's not the same without Johan :(

Forgot about Cahill. Always steal him in FM if I'm a Prem team ever. Best 6m I'll ever spend <ok>

Damn, I spent £11m when I got promoted to the Prem :( Never actually used any of the others (on any of my lists!) on FM so no idea how good they actually are to use :p

Kevin Davies. Legend for Bolton.

Johnson and Phil Jones, good choices! Not too keen on Lukaku, overhyped for sure. Got a load of development to do, his game was hardly helped at all by Anderlecht's style of hoof it to him to win in the air.

Best - Johan Cruyff, Pele, Ferenc Puskas, Ryan Giggs, Lionel Messi

Favourites - David Beckham, Matt le Tissier (not leaving him out), Iker Muniain, Juan Carlos Valeron, Diego Tristán. I have a bit of a thing for the league-winning Deportivo side of 2000. They were beautiful.

Top 5 ever

Pele
Maradona
Best - yes he's from NI too, but also known as one of the best in the world in his prime :)
Cantona
Dino Zoff

Iniesta
Javi Martinez or Iker Muniain (or any Bilbao player)
Wesley Sneijder
Messi - don't have to be a fanboy to know his skill is a joy to behold
van der Sar

There is something very likeable about them isn't there. Despite the silly nationalist policies.

A fellow adam johnson fan! I squeal anytime he comes on for City or England and am desperate for the world to see how skilful an ENGLISH player can be!

All they have to do is pop down St Mary's on a Saturday afternoon.

He plays on the left, he plays on the riiiiggghhhtt...
