It looked a little fuller than previous but the free tickets are not implemented yet if that's what you mean Palace brought their usual mini bus load up
Looked like less than usual to me, admittedly from my armchair. Disillusionment isn't dictated by results I guess, it's bigger than that.
Played them at the wrong time I fear. The Captain does have something of a point with his comments earlier. I'm loving this season more and more. Just hoping for a bit more 'football' in the new year.
Next three games are going to be extremely difficult. It's good we got these three points, it won't be long before the fans start whining again I am sure.
Thought he made some good saves today but he does seem to have problems with judging corners and crosses. Made one awful mistake on a corner that he was lucky didn’t go in. There is no way a goalkeeper should ever get beaten by corner on the far post. Exactly the same as goal at Burnley.
Said this before on the post dedicated too him, he makes those mistakes often. I'm ****ting myself when he runs to punch a ball, he's conceded a lot of goals that way. He is a good shot stopper, but his judgement is off. I put it down to the lack of games he's had throughout his career, for a keeper of his age his appearances is terrible, he would be absolutely world class if he had more games under his belt. If we give him time, we can surely sell him for big bucks in time and buy a **** keeper in replacement. Fantastic business, back of the net.
They have been doing well against the good teams but poor against the **** teams, finding it difficult to break them down. We should be okay.
Nope, but the free season ticket deal kicks in for the next game so we'll see what effect that has had.
Another question for those there, how did my favourite current player, Lejeune, do on his first game since injury?
He didnt put a foot wrong. Also provides a link between defence and midfield. Both Schar and Fernadez have a tendency to go long too much. Lejeune is much more composed. Tired a bit in 2nd half but hardly surprising. Great to have him back.
Honestly think we have three cb's who are pretty much undroppable right now. Lascelles isn't a bad back up either. Manquillo and Willem's have also been great. Our front five are hit and miss, literally.
2019 has been a fantastic year for us - would love to see some stats about where we would be if the league was from January to December. Main change? Almiron!
In fairness many idiots comment on goals or assists but what Miggy really had done is stretched other teams, given us an outlet and changed the way we attack. People are terrified of him.
Looked s bit off the pace at times which is to be expected. An 80% fit Lejeune is still miles ****ing better than a fully fit lascelles. Lejuene is just pure class on the ball like.
