Twas the weekend before Christmas and all through the ground,
JoeLinton's not scoring, no chances to be found.

The white and blacks return to action this Sarrada for an old fashioned 3pm kick off at the Stadium of St James, welcoming the oldest manager in Premium League folklore to the opposing dugout to kick off our festive season of fun - 4 games in 10 days...lets fahhhhhhhking 'ave it !!!

It remains to be seen whether we field an unchanged line up to the team that lost against Burnley, news on the fitness of Miggy, Clarke and our top scorer Shelvey is awaited. News on the fitness of Darlow and Ki is not awaited cos they are ****e and nobody cares.

Palarse are unbeaten in 4 games and sit 1 point above us in the table currently.

Officiating and trying to avoid the wrath of HDAQ this week is Simon Hooper with Chris Kavanagh hiding behind some tv screens pausing/rewinding and replaying endless clips of Wilfried Zaha throwing himself on the floor at VAR HQ.

I ****ing hate Palace, that Steve Parish is a right **** and that Zaha is a right **** anarl so I hope we stuff em.

3-1 to the Toon. I don't care who scores, infact I hope its a Zaha own goal hat-trick.

easy game for palace who are a much better side than burnley and we of course have all are best players out
 
This could be the World's most boring game ever. According to the Press or Not Press thread us and Palace are the two sides that press the least in the oppositions half and allow the opposition the most number of uncontested passes there.

It will be a battle played out entirely on the half way line. I am going 0-0. No shots on target, No offsides. It's a game made for Almiron and Joelinton.

Both teams just standing either side of the halfway line doing a rendition of the haka for 90 mins

We need a win here as the next 3 games are tough. If Shelvey and Miggy are back i fancy us to win 1-0.
 
Palace have got one single attacking threat, if we nullify it they will play for the draw. It's hodgson all over.
