At this point what I'm seeing is him apologising and other people justifying their behaviour.

The who did it first stuff is for kids in the back of the car... he was confronted about his view with some rather aggressive and unpleasant tones

He's apologising while also posting (yet again) that he's the victim. So in my mind, it's a hollow apology just for show. A genuine apology I would take and mirror. But I don't feel the need to apologise to someine who starts a fight with me then plays hurt.

We just move on.

I counted 3 different posters who got abuse yesterday none of whom then went on a monologue about feeling hurt. Just my humble observation on yesterday’s events.
