I'm saying you can't have a rule for one and not the other in actual fact.

Charlie is saying GG should learn to not keep commenting and I'm saying that can also be said for his assailants. GG had a tantrum so just leave him be is the best approach... problem solved.

What people are saying is don't make posts like that GG or we can I have a pop because we don't like it and then you should give up and stay quiet.. it just isn't going to work though <laugh>

Two to tango.

We should both probably learn to give up and stop commenting now.

It's a rule for everyone really - back off when it starts to get to name calling and anything stupid.

We can't just have a pop and then ask that person to learn to not reply... It will never work <laugh>

What I saw was GG having a period and people going after his sorry old bones with pitch forks and him firing back.. silly stuff from both camps.

If GG didn't have a period it would've been no different we'd still have lost... we didn't need to take it out on eachother even if we didn't like his reaction.

He apologised and his assailants continued to trample over his sorry arse.... they want him not to react badly... who cares it's his reaction man..

It was funny .. we lost one game in 10 <laugh> .. personally I hope GG never changes.

Toon played like they were all drugged up to the eyeballs today. Never seen 'em so slow and lack lustre for yonks. Bornmuff must have spiked the drinks or summat.

This is because we play the same 11 week in and week out without anyone getting rests.

We need a RW and pacy CB and a decent striker to relieve the pressure a bit.

But we can’t because of finances.

That's equally a very one sided view though mate. You can't expect GG to be able to have a pop and people not react to it. He brings it on himself and then claims others are being nasty to him.

He just needs to use a bit of perspective and take a bit of middle ground. He goes from everything being amazing one minute to it all being totally **** the next. One extreme to the other with no rational reasoning.

But as you rightly said, we move on. Hopefully the team will perform better against Southampton.
The difference is I have a pop at the team. The club. The players. Not personally against you lot.

Then you see an opportunity and are probably equally frustrated but instead of firing at the problem (the team or eddie) you fire at me. Making it personal for no reason.

Then as I see it happening I react.

It's all good GG.

Your reaction is something to be cherished imo. You turned up Yesterday and others were below par.

Now you've had a good sleep and Newcastle are still 4th with a cup final potentially to look forward to in March do you feel better?

I feel great mate. I had a nice early night aswell.

Let’s hope Spurs can be spursy.

Shocking performance mind.

You're entitled to say whatever you like about the result. The people that don't like it have the right to disagree, but they don't have the right to dictate what your reaction should be, request to silence your opinion and insult you personally...... you then insult them back naturally and the game of verbal tennis is well underway.

The bottom line is they don't like your reactions and are asking you to conform to their own ideals or else..... unfortunately we all know that's never going to happen.<laugh>

That's what I've been getting at and I personally think it's fine.. it really doesn't bother me at all.:emoticon-0148-yes:

My take is that we're doing well this season mate, we've got to focus on the full picture not just one game, but I get that you found Yesterday hard to stomach because it was dreadful.

Agreed. And it was dreadful. To those who found my comments in any way offensive. Apologies. I was very frustrated and I take games like yesterday’s badly.

But we move on. And it would be boring if I was a pacifist. Life is all about challenge.

Good man GG! You're a good man when push comes to shove.. it would be nice if the people that clearly hurt your feelings with insults show a similar strength in character and apologise for their part in this.

That is what you see. What I see is this.

Bournemouth have played well this season. Sitting in 6th, above Man City now. Not like they are a relegation team atm.

But we should be winning these games if we are serious about too 4.

Defeatist attitude if you think otherwise.

So it’s now acceptable to lose at home again to Bournemouth.

**** me
.

I hadn't said it was.OK, I was merely ponting out they were in good form. A football point, not a dig at you.
Your response was a pop at ME, not at the team. Calling me defeatist and saying I thought it was OK to lose. The "**** me" at the end.is a clear point at putting my view down.

So it all escalated from there. From a simple point about football. You claim the victim after starting the first personal pops. That's what I see.

I don't think this is an apology.
