That old gut punch feeling after a last minute defeat.
So proud as we sit in 15th place. We sound like parents of the kid that came in 2nd last in the running race. At least you beat one legged Jimmy, so proud of you son!
It was his team doing itGot to say I liked Slot last season but this quote is a disgrace:
"I'm not too sure if I saw a football match," Slot told Sky Sports after the game. "It was set-piece after set-piece, long throws. It didn't have a lot to do with tactics. But I liked a lot how we stood strong."
We battered you for 30 mins, then you got a luck goal and red card and another goal just after half time and then we battered you again with 10 men for another 45 mins and you scored a lucky break in the 101st min - be grateful your subs bailed you out you bald headed mong. He was lucky he had Klopp's team and tactics in play last season - clearly tweaked stuff over the summer and can't see them winning the league again this year if the first few performances are anything to go by.
Always this lot an'all. Really hoped after the milk cup win the monkey would be off our back.

the length of time taken for goal kicks, passing the ball from Van Dick to Allison then to Konate was unbelievable
it was also on their throw ins that took an eternity (Liverpool players being warned about it but no action) the 15 yard steal up the pitch out of defense for on 1 throw in by the East Stand
not to mention the amount of times Hooper had to intervene with the grappling in the Liverpool box by Liverpool players
I just think those 5 points missed will bite us in the arse at the end of the season. Last season we scrapped through on goal difference.Said it last night, if you'd offered me a point on the board, before a ball was kicked this year, I'd have taken it.
Villa away and Liverpool to start the season is a horrible pair of opening games. Yes we could have had another 3 points if we'd beaten the 10 men of Villa and held on for another min vs Pool but we look good, just need a striker to bury some of the chances we are creating.
Speaking of set pieces..they are still ****e.
Not sure why Trippier isn't taking the set pieces if he's on the pitch. Going to lose my mind if Elanga doesn't find one of our players from a corner shortly. Don't think he's made one successful cross to a NUFC player.
Howay man the washing machine must be on overtime in your house....

We need to change our mentality as a fan base. We arent the plucky underdogs any more. This proud stuff is all well and good but go on the forums and its Liverpool find a way to win again. No one cares about the performance in next few weeks it's the points on the board.
From my negative view this has been the start of our season:
Lost star striker to Liverpool and Man U
Our striker on strike and wanting to go to Liverpool
We have Osula as only Striker that Howe doesnt trust
We have lost our left winger for 3 games
We have lost our CM pairing for 1-3 months
We have thrown away 5 points because out recruitment team cant seem to find a striker that can score more goals than Wilson ( 0 goals)
But we have put good performances in.
To me, we are in the **** but everyone is saying, smell the flowers.
Trippier being ****ing **** at them probably contributes to that
He can beat the first man which would be an improvement...
Ideally, Schar would be on the bench most of the time.I honestly think i'd put Schar on corners..yes you'd lose his threat in the box but i bet he'd put a good delivery in.
